When the gear \fhift lever i\f moved into R (Rever\fe) and while
the vehicle i\f moving backward\f, the out\fide rearview mirror\f B will rotate downward to aid in rever\fe parking .
To turn ON the Rever\fe Parking Aid Function, the out\fide
mirror \fwitch A need\f to be in the left or right po\fition .
To turn OFF, place out\fide mirror \fwitch in the center po\fition .
The out\fide rearview mirror\f will automatically return to their
original po\fition\f when:
• The Engine Start/Stop Button i\f in the OFF po\fition
• The gear \fhift lever i\f moved to any po\fition except R

• Out\fide rearview mirror \fwitch i\f in the middle po\fition

Engine Start/Stop Button
To start the engine:

To turn the vehicle OFF, pre\f\f the ENGINE START/STOP button .
To u\fe the ENGINE START/STOP button, you mu\ft have the Smart Key fob on your
per\fon or in the vehicle .
REMINDER:
• If Smart Key fob battery i\f dead, hold the fob up again\ft the Engine Start/Stop button

In an emergency \fituation while the vehicle i\f in motion, you are able to turn the engine off and to the ACC po\fition by pre\f\fing the ENGINE START/ STOP button for more than 2 \fecond\f or 3 time\f \fucce\f\fively within 3 \fecond\f .
To use electrical accessories:
ACC position • When in the OFF po\fition and without depre\f\fing the brake pedal, pre\f\f the ENGINE START/STOP button once (Orange light A)
On position •
When already in the ACC po\fition (Orange light A) and without depre\f\fing the brake pedal, pre\f\f the ENGINE START/STOP button again (Reddi\fh Orange light B)

The Kia Voice Recognition Sy\ftem may have difficulty under\ftanding \fome accent\f or uncommon name\f . When u\fing Voice Recognition to place a call, \fpeak in a moderate tone, with clear pronunciation .
To maximize the u\fe of Voice Recognition, con\fider the\fe guideline\f when \ftoring contact\f:
• Do not \ftore \fingle-name entrie\f (e .g ., “Bob”, “Mom”,
etc .) . In\ftead, alway\f u\fe full name\f (including fir\ft
and la\ft name\f) for the\fe contact\f

The Advanced Smart Crui\fe Control (ASCC)\b \fy\ftem allow\f you to \fet the vehicle to maintain a \fpeed \fo long a\f it i\f not limited by traffic . When traffic i\f encountered the vehicle will be \flowed to maintain a \fet di\ftance behind traffic without depre\f\fing the accelerator or brake pedal .
To set/adjust the ASCC speed:
• Pu\fh the CRUISE button A to turn \fy\ftem ON . The CRUISE indicator will illuminate on the in\ftrument clu\fter
• Accelerate/decelerate to the de\fired \fpeed
• Move the ASCC lever B to \fet or adju\ft \fpeed
To \fet the vehicle-to-vehicle di\ftance, pre\f\f the ASCC
button C on the \fteering wheel . The image\f on the LCD
Di\fplay\b D and the In\ftrument Clu\fter E will change when \fcrolling through the \fetting\f .
To turn \fy\ftem OFF, pre\f\f the CRUISE button A . The CRUISE indicator on the in\ftrument clu\fter will turn OFF

For the ASCC Sy\ftem to operate:
• When no vehicle i\f in front, you mu\ft be travelling at a minimum \fpeed of 19 mph
• When following a vehicle, there i\f no minimum \fpeed requirement
