User Settings* - Instrument Cluster
To enter the User Settings mode in the Instrument Cluster, press the Mode button A when the vehicle is at a standstill and with the Engine Start/Stop button in the ON position and select User Settings by pressing the OK button B.
You can navigate the selections on the display by pressing the OK button B up or down, and then selecting the item by pressing the OK button B again.

REMINDER: Do not at tempt to adjust the seat while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of control of the vehicle.
When adjusting the seat for ward or backward, ensure the seat clicks or locks into place before driving the vehicle.

REMINDER: VIP Seats* are not removable.
•Make sure the VIP seats are moved all the way inward to clear the seatbacks when adjusting and before actuating the relaxation mode
•You may need to move the front passenger seat for ward to make room for the leg extension
•The relaxation mode does not function fully when the seats are in the out ward position

If the Seat Belt is buckled, press the release button on the buckle.
To retract the center seatbelt webbing I in the 2nd and/or 3rd rows, use the lap belt tongue plate J to push the “release button” in the small slot on the center belt buckle K.
2nd-Row VIP Seats with Relaxation Mode*†1 2
Forward/backward: Pull up on the lever A to manually move the VIP Seat forward or backward.
Inward/Outward: Pull up on the lever B to manually move the VIP Seat inward or outward. Moving the seat inward allows more space for 3rd-Row access.
Relaxation Mode
Press and hold the front auto-control button C for the VIP Seat to move into relaxation mode. The seatback angles back and the seat cushion tilts up.
Press and hold the rear auto-control button D to move the VIP seat back to its original upright position.
The buttons under the auto-control buttons move the various parts of the seat — seatback forward and backward E, tilt the entire seat F, retract or extend the leg extension G, and seat cushion height adjustment H.

Opening from Inside the Vehicle:
Press and hold the Power Liftgate Open/Close button A to automatically open/close the Liftgate.
Smart Key:
To open the Power Liftgate, press and hold the Liftgate button B until the Liftgate begins to open. Press and hold again to automatically close.
Auto Open/Close*: To automatically open and close the Power Liftgate / Sliding Doors, press and hold buttons C (close) or D (open) for more than 3 seconds.
REMINDER: Pulling the Liftgate upward by the handle or pressing the but ton a second time will interrupt the automatic opening of the Power Liftgate.
Opening/Closing from Outside the Vehicle:
To open the Power Liftgate automatically, press the Rear Hatch Release button E on the exterior of the Liftgate.
Automatically close by pressing the Power Liftgate Close button F.
To turn off the Power Liftgate Close button function, press button G.
Power Liftgate Opening Height Adjustment
The height setting of a fully opened liftgate (tailgate) can be adjusted by the following steps:
1. Position the liftgate manually to the preferred height
2. Press the Power Liftgate Close button F more than 3 seconds
3. A system beep will sound twice indicating the height setting has been saved
The liftgate will then open to the set height. To change setting again, repeat steps 1-3.

Smart Liftgate with Auto Open & Close*†1 6
The Smart Liftgate with Auto Open & Close can open or close the Liftgate
automatically when the driver approaches or leaves the vehicle. For Smart
Liftgate with Auto Open & Close to operate, the Smart Key must be enabled.
Automatically open: When the Smart Key is on your person and you are near
the back of the vehicle, within close proximity, the hazard lights will blink and
a chime will sound for about 3 seconds as an alert that the Smart Liftgate is
about to open. Then the alert system will blink and chime two additional times
before opening the Smart Liftgate.
Automatically close: When the Smart Key fob is on your person and you leave
the vehicle, the chime will sound three times as an alert that the Smart Liftgate
is about to close. Then the alert system will chime two additional times before
closing the Smart Liftgate.
The Smart Liftgate with Auto Open & Close feature is off by default. To enable
on some models, go to User Settings in the LCD Instrument Cluster modes. On
other models, press the Setup key on the audio head unit, followed by pressing
VEHICLE on the screen. Then press DOOR and SMART LIFTGATE.
OFF button: To turn off the Power Liftgate Close button function, press button A.
REMINDERS:
•All doors are closed and locked after about 15 seconds
•The Smar t Liftgate with Auto Open & Close feature will not operate when:
-
The doors are recently closed and locked, and the Smar t Key is still detected after 15 seconds near the vehicle or within 60 inches of the door handles
-A door is not locked or closed
-The Smar t Key is in the vehicle
•
Press any but ton on the Smar t Key fob during the Detect and Aler t stage, or move out of the detection area, to deactivate the Smar t Liftgate with Auto Open & Close function
•
When the ignition is on, the Smar t Liftgate with Auto Open & Close will only operate with the gear shift in the Park (P) position
•
The Smar t Key must be outside of the vehicle for the Smar t Liftgate with Auto Open & Close to operate
•Ensure obstacles and people are out of the way of the Liftgate
