The trunk room lamp comes on aslong as the trunk lid opens. To pre‐vent unnecessary charging systemdrain, close the trunk lid securely af‐ter using the trunk room.

automatically turn on the mirror light.

Always have the switch in the offposition when the vanity mirrorlamp is not in use. If the sunvisor isclosed without the lamp off, it maydischarge the battery or damage thesunvisor.

STORAGE COMPARTMENT
These compartments can be used to store small items.
CAUTION
•To avoid possible theft, do notleave valuables in the storagecompartment.
•Always keep the storage compart‐ment covers closed while driving.Do not attempt to place so manyitems in the storage compartmentthat the storage compartmentcover cannot close securely.
WARNING
nFlammable materials
Do not store cigarette lighters, pro‐pane cylinders, or other flammable/explosive materials in the vehicle.These items may catch fire and/orexplode if the vehicle is exposed tohot temperatures for extended peri‐ods.
Center console storage
To open the center console storage, pull
up the lever.
Glove box

The glove box can be locked and un‐
locked with a master key. (if equipped)
To open the glove box, pull the lever (1) and the glove box will automatically
open. Close the glove box after use.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury in an ac‐cident or sudden stop, always keepthe glove box door closed while driv‐ing.

Cup holder
WARNING
nHot liquids
•Do not place uncovered cups of hotliquid in the cup holder while thevehicle is in motion. If the hot liq‐uid spills, you may burn yourself.Such a burn to the driver couldlead to loss of control of the vehi‐cle.
•To reduce the risk of a personal in‐jury in the event of a sudden stopor collision, do not place uncoveredor unsecured bottles, glasses,cans, etc., in the cup holder whilethe vehicle is in motion.

•If uncovered cups and cans con‐taining any form of liquid are putinto the front/center seat cupholders and the vehicle brakesheavily, the liquid may flow intothe narrow openings around cupholders and console, and soak intothe vehicle's internal electrical sys‐tem.To avoid subsequent system mal‐function, always firmly cover anycontainer holding liquid.
WARNING
Keep cans or bottles out of directsun light and do not put them in avehicle that is heated up. They mayexplode.
NOTICE
•Keep your drinks sealed while driv‐
ing to prevent spilling your drink. If
liquid spills, it may get into the ve‐
hicle's electrical/electronic system
