Audio Control Unit:
Press the SETUP key, then the DATE / TIME button to
display the Time and Date setting screen Then use the
onscreen buttons to adjust time and date
• Press the RETURN button on the navigation screen to ensure changes are saved
• When needed, Daylight Savings must be enabled in the Settings screen
• To access manual date and time setting, turn GPS time OFF in the Clock Settings (UVO eServices with Premium Navigation System*)

AUX/Multimedia USB Port A – Use the AUX port to connect audio devices and the
Multimedia USB port to connect USB audio devices and smartphones
AC Inverter* B – 115V/100 watt power inverters are located in the back of the center
console and in the luggage zone* (See page 8 for ON/OFF button information)
USB Charger Ports* C are located in the center panel and in the back of the center console
Power outlets D are located on the center panel, in front of the gear shift
The power outlets are inactive when the Engine Start /Stop* button is OFF

REMINDERS:
• Using the power outlets (accessory plugs) and AC Inverter for prolonged periods of time with the ENGINE START/STOP button in the ACC position (Engine OFF ) may cause the battery to discharge
• Use only the charging cables that your device manufacturer supplied Third party cables may cause damage to your device
• The USB data port (Multimedia USB port) is located next to the Power Outlets The USB Charger ports do not support data transfer

Inductive charging systems are less ef ficient than conventional charging through cable As a result, higher device operating temperatures may be experienced during use

Charging Performance – Device position on the wireless charging system can affect charging performance Other factor that may affect the charging rate includes foreign objects, such as coins or pens, and phone case thickness
•If driver door is opened, charging will be disabled

REMINDER: To reduce the risk of an accident, do not activate Auto Hold while driving downhill, backing up or parking your vehicle
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)*
The Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) system utilizes an electric motor to
engage the parking brake
Applying the Parking Brake
Depress the brake pedal and pull up the EPB switch A Ensure that the
indicator light is illuminated on the instrument cluster
Releasing the Parking Brake
The EPB will automatically release when the shifter is placed in Reverse
or Drive
To release EPB manually, depress the brake pedal, then press the EPB
switch A, with the ignition switch in the ON position Ensure that the
indicator light i s O F F
REMINDERS:
•
As a bulb check, the EPB malfunction indicator will illuminate for approximately 3 seconds when the ignition switch is turned ON
•
If the warning light does not illuminate temporarily, or continues to remain lit, take your vehicle to an authorized Kia dealer and have the system checked
•The EPB should not be operated while the vehicle is moving
•
A click or electric brake motor sound may be heard while operating or releasing the EPB, but these conditions are normal and indicate that the EPB is functioning properly

Auto Hold*
Auto Hold temporarily maintains the vehicle at
a standstill even if the brake pedal is released
Auto Hold can be turned ON/OFF using the
AUTO HOLD switch B on the center panel
Before Auto Hold will operate, the driver’s door,
engine hood and trunk must be closed, and the
driver’s seat belt must be fastened
The Auto Hold indicator has four states:
White: Standby - With vehicle in Park and at
a standstill, and AUTO HOLD switch B turned
ON, the indicator will illuminate white While
driving the vehicle (vehicle is not at a standstill),
the Auto Hold indicator will remain white
Green: Engaged - When coming to a complete
stop and depressing the brake pedal, the Auto
Hold indicator changes from white to green
OFF (not illuminated) - The indicator will turn
OFF when the AUTO HOLD switch B is turned OFF
Yellow: Malfunction - When the indicator is illuminated yellow, there may
be a system malfunction Take your vehicle to a local Kia dealer

•When leaving your keys with parking lot attendants or valet, make sure to inform them how to operate the EPB •If parked on a steep incline/decline, pull up the EPB switch for more than 3 seconds for a firmer EPB application •Pull up and hold EPB switch a second time to increase brake pressure if parked on a decline or incline

Do not solely rely on the Auto Hold system to keep the vehicle stopped. Always pay attention to traffic and road conditions, and be prepared to depress the brakes.

•Press twice for medium setting (2 LEDs lit)
•Press a third time for low setting (1 LED lit) and again to turn OFF
•With the Seat Warmer switch in the ON position, the heating system in the seat turns OFF or ON automatically depending on the seat temperature •When Seat Warmers or Ventilated Seats button is pressed ON and ignition is cycled, the system will turn ON again
QUICK TIPS
REMINDER: If the steering wheel becomes too warm, turn the system off The heated steering wheel may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods of time

To raise headrest: Pull headrest up
To lower headrest: Press lock A, then press the headrest down
Driver Position Memory System*
The integrated system stores into memory the position of the Driver’s Seat and
the Outside Rearview Mirrors
To store positions into memory, first place the Gear Shift into P (Park) while the
Engine Start /Stop button* is in the ON position Then:
1 Adjust the Driver’s Seat and the Outside Rearview Mirrors
2 Press the SET button B on the control panel System will beep once
3 Press one of the memory buttons C within 5 seconds The system will beep
twice when memory has been stored
Easy Access Function*
• The system will automatically move the driver's seat forward when the
ignition or the Engine Start /Stop button is pressed to ON or the ACC position
• The system will automatically move the driver's seat rearward when
the ignition or the Engine Start /Stop button is pressed to OFF
• To activate or deactivate the Easy Access Function, go to User
Settings in the LCD Instrument Cluster modes

Folding 2nd-Row Seat
1 Lower the 2nd-Row Seat Headrest to the lowest
position
2 Pull up on the Seatback folding lever A or strap*
and fold the Seatback down
Unfolding 2nd-Row Seat
1 Lift the folding Seatback lever A and move the
Seatback backward
2 Then lift the lever A again or return Seatback to an
upright usable position

•When you return Seatback to its original position, ensure it locks (clicks) into place •It may be necessary to slide the front Seat forward and adjust the front Seatbacks to fully lower rear seats •Lower Rear Headrests to the lowest position

2nd-Row Walk-In Seat*†17
To get in and out of the 3rd-Row Seat, adjust the 2nd-Row Walk-
In Seat as follows:
1 Lift the 2nd-Row Seat armrest
2 Adjust headrest to the lowest position
3 Accessing from outside of the vehicle: Pull up the Walk-In
Lever A – the seat will stand up and headrest will fold
automatically C
4 Accessing from the 3rd-Row seat: Pull the release strap B –
the seat will stand up and headrest will fold automatically C
5 Return the 2nd-Row Seat to its original position and push until
it locks (clicks) into place and the headrest unfolds
Walk-In Seat Adjustment*
To adjust the 2nd Row Walk-In Seat, press button D for desired
seatback angle, forward/backward
Press button E to adjust seat cushion forward/backward
REMINDER: Do not use the button while front passenger seat is occupied

Removing the Tumble Seat
1 Insert the seat belt into the belt assembly cover, and the
seat belt buckle into the seat cushion pocket
2 Lower the headrest A to the lowest position
3 Slide the Seat backward to the farthest position
4 Pull up the recline strap B and fold the Seatback forward
5
Pull the removal strap C and lift the back of the Tumble
Seat forward
6
Pull up the catch release lever D under the Tumble Seat
cushion and lift out of the anchors

Installing Tumble Seat
1 Place and align the Tumble Seat properly E

backward until it locks (clicks)

Never install or remove the Tumble Seat while there are occupants in the 3rd-Row Seat

Make sure to raise up both the left and right side seatbacks before installing tumble seat
