AC Inverter*
The AC Inverter supplies 115V/100W electrical power to operate
accessories or equipment Press AC Inverter button C to activate
Instrument Cluster Control
With parking lights/headlights ON, press button B (+) or (-) to adjust the
brightness of the instrument panel illumination
REMINDER: The Instrument Cluster Control does not adjust brightness on the audio head unit screens Use the display settings in the Setup menu to adjust the brightness on the screen
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)†8
The ESC system is designed to help stabilize the vehicle during certain
cornering maneuvers It is a good idea to keep the ESC turned on for daily
driving whenever possible
Press ESC OFF button A to turn Traction Control OFF/ON Press again to
turn on
To turn OFF both the Traction Control and Stability Control, press and hold
for more than 3 seconds Press again to turn ON
REMINDERS:
•ESC is turned ON by default at vehicle startup If vehicle power is cycled, ESC will turn ON again
•
The ESC Indicator Light in the instrument cluster will illuminate whenever the ESC is in operation

Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC)†8
HAC helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when accelerating
from a stop while on a steep incline HAC automatically activates
whether the ESC is OFF or ON but does NOT activate when the ESC has
malfunctioned
REMINDERS:
•HAC does not operate when the gear shift is in the P (Park) or the N (Neutral) position
•HAC does not replace the need to apply brakes while the vehicle is stopped on an incline
•HAC provides a 2-second delay before the vehicle may start rolling backwards •When HAC is active (e g , during initial acceleration from a stop on an incline), you may notice that the brakes will momentarily remain engaged after you depress the accelerator – this is normal HAC operation

Audio Control Unit:
Press the SETUP key, then the DATE / TIME button to
display the Time and Date setting screen Then use the
onscreen buttons to adjust time and date
• Press the RETURN button on the navigation screen to ensure changes are saved
• When needed, Daylight Savings must be enabled in the Settings screen
• To access manual date and time setting, turn GPS time OFF in the Clock Settings (UVO eServices with Premium Navigation System*)

AUX/Multimedia USB Port A – Use the AUX port to connect audio devices and the
Multimedia USB port to connect USB audio devices and smartphones
AC Inverter* B – 115V/100 watt power inverters are located in the back of the center
console and in the luggage zone* (See page 8 for ON/OFF button information)
USB Charger Ports* C are located in the center panel and in the back of the center console
Power outlets D are located on the center panel, in front of the gear shift
The power outlets are inactive when the Engine Start /Stop* button is OFF

REMINDERS:
• Using the power outlets (accessory plugs) and AC Inverter for prolonged periods of time with the ENGINE START/STOP button in the ACC position (Engine OFF ) may cause the battery to discharge
• Use only the charging cables that your device manufacturer supplied Third party cables may cause damage to your device
• The USB data port (Multimedia USB port) is located next to the Power Outlets The USB Charger ports do not support data transfer

Opening from Outside the Vehicle:
To open Power Liftgate* automatically, press the
Liftgate Release button F on exterior of the Liftgate
Automatically close by pressing the Power Liftgate
Close button* G
Power Liftgate Height Adjustment:
For your convenience, the liftgate opening height
is adjustable To program the opening height,
perform the following:
1 Open liftgate and manually position liftgate to
your preferred opening height
2 Depress and hold the close button on the liftgate
for 3 seconds or more
3 The system will beep 3 times when the programming is complete
Power Liftgate / Smart Power Liftgate*†21
Opening from Inside the Vehicle:
Press the Power Liftgate Open/Close button* D to automatically open/
close the Liftgate Depress the POWER DOOR OFF button* E to disable
REMINDER: If POWER DOOR OFF button is pressed, the Power Liftgate button on the Smart Key will be disabled

Power Sliding Doors*
Using the overhead controls, press the left /right Power Sliding
Door button A on the overhead controls, on the Center Pillars B
or on the key fob C to automatically open/close the sliding doors
REMINDER: If the POWER DOOR OFF button is depressed, the Smart Power Liftgate* will not operate
Power Door OFF Button - When button D is ON (not depressed),
the power sliding door and power liftgate can be controlled with
the buttons on the center pillar trim B or liftgate Also, the doors
will open/close automatically when pulling the handles from the
inside or outside
