■ECO lamp and SPORT lamp
●When sport mode is selected, SPORT lamp (red) will illuminate.
●When all of the following conditions are satisfied and Eco-friendly driving, ECO
lamp (blue) will illuminate. (ECO lamp will become brighter the more Eco-friendly
driving you perform. Also, while the vehicle is stopped or the acceleration exceeds
Zone of Eco driving, ECO lamp turns off. (P. 109) However, when Eco drive
mode is selected, while the vehicle is stopped or the acceleration exceeds Zone of
Eco driving, ECO lamp does not turn off.):
• Driving with the shift lever in D
• Either normal mode or Eco drive mode is selected.
• The vehicle speed is approximately 80 mph (130 km/h) or below.
■Tachometer (hybrid vehicles)
Hybrid System Indicator automatically sw itches to the tachometer when driving
mode is in sport mode.
■Engine speed (hybrid vehicles)
Engine speed is precisely controlled in or der to help improve fuel efficiency and
reduce exhaust emissions etc.
There are times when the engine speed that is displayed may differ even when vehi-
cle operation and driving conditions are the same.

NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the engine and its components
●Do not let the indicator needle of the tachometer enter the red zone, which indi-
cates the maximum engine speed.
●The engine may be overheating if the engine coolant temperature gauge is in the
red zone (H). In this case, immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place, and check
the engine after it has cooled completely. ( P. 688, 691)

speed is displayed.

• This distance is computed based on your average
fuel consumption. As a result, the actual distance
that can be driven may diff er from that displayed.
• When only a small amount of fuel is added to the tank, the display may not be updated.
When refueling, turn the “START STOP ENGINE”
<“POWER”> switch off. If the vehicle is refueled
without turning the “START STOP ENGINE”
<“POWER”> switch off, the display may not be
updated.
Displays the elapsed time since the engine
Displays inflation pres sure of each tire
For the vehicles with a full-size spare tire: The inflation
pressure of the spare tire will be displayed.

After turning the “START STOP ENGINE” <“POWER”> switch to IGNITION ON
■Eco Driving Indicator (gasoline vehicles)
Zone of Eco driving
Eco driving ratio based on acceleration
If the acceleration exceeds Zone of Eco dr iving, the right side of Eco Driving Indi-
cator Zone Display blinks.
Eco Driving Indicator will not oper ate in the following conditions:
●The shift lever is anything other than D.
●Neither normal mode nor Eco drive mode is selected. ( P. 3 1 1 )
●The vehicle speed is approximatel y 80 mph (130 km/h) or higher.
■Outside temperature display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or
the display may take longer than normal to change.
●When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
●When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a
garage, tunnel, etc.)
Suggests Zone of Eco driving and Eco driving
ratio based on acceleration.
Eco Driving Indicator Light
Eco Driving Indicator Light availability can
be customized. The default setting is off.

During Eco-friendly acceleration (Eco driv-
ing), Eco Driving Indicator Light will turn
on.
When the acceleration exceeds Zone of
Eco driving, or when the vehicle is stopped,
the light turns off.

■Setting display automatic cancelation
In the following situations, setting display in which the settings can be changed
through the “DISP” button will automatically be turned off.
●When a warning message appears whil e the setting display is displayed
●When the vehicle begins to move while the setting display is displayed
■Tire inflation pressure
●It may take a few minutes to display the tire inflation pressure after the “START
STOP ENGINE” <“POWER”> switch is tu rned to IGNITION ON
may also take a few minutes to display the tire inflation pressure after inflation pres-
sure has been adjusted.
●“---” may be displayed if the tire position information cannot be determined due to
unfavorable radio wave conditions.
●Tire inflation pressure changes with temperature. The displayed values may also be
different from the values measured using a tire pressure gauge.
■Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on th e display. This phenomenon is character-
istic of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem continuing to use the display.
