Gauges and meters
The units used on the speedometer may differ depending on the target region.
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature
Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolution per minute
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40
F (-40 C) to 122 F
(50 C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37 F (3 C) or lower.
Clock
Time can be adjusted or a clock format can be set from (settings display) of
the multi-information display. ( P. 7 8 )
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of vehicle data ( P. 7 8 )
Displays warning messages in case of a malfunction ( P. 4 8 2 )
Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Shift position and shift range

The settings of the following items can be changed, refer to P. 533
For functions that can be enabled or disabled, the function switches between on and
off each time is pressed.

•Pop-up display Select to set the pop-up displays, which may appear in some situations, on/off.
• Accent color Select to change the accent colors on the screen, such as the cursor color.
• Default settings
Registered or changed meter settings w ill be deleted or returned to their
default setting.

Lexus Display Audio system
Select “General” or “Camera” on the “Display” screen or select “Display” on
each audio menu screen. (P. 2 8 9 )
Adjust the display as desired by turning the controller clockwise (+) or coun-
terclockwise (-).
To select “Contrast”, “Brightness”, “Color” or “Tone”, move the controller to the left.
(“Colour” and “Tone” are available when “D isplay” on the audio settings screen for
each audio source is selected.)
■Changing the sample image (when “General” is selected)
Move the controller to the right and select the desired sample image.

When trouble arises
If the electronic key do
es not operate properly
■Doors
Use the mechanical key (P. 9 0 ) i n
order to perform the following oper-
ations:
Locks all the doors
Closes the windows and moon
roof (turn and hold)

Unlocks the door
Turning the key rearward unlocks the
driver’s door. Turning the key once
again within 5 seconds unlocks the
other doors.
Opens the windows and moon roof (turn and hold)*

: This setting must be customized at your Lexus dealer.

Turn the mechanical key clockwise
to open.
If communication between the electronic key and vehicle is interrupted
(  P. 108) or the electronic key cannot be used because the battery is
depleted, the smart access system with push-button start and wireless
remote control cannot be used. In su ch cases, the doors and trunk can be
opened and the engine can be started by following the procedure below.
