■Eco Driving Indicator
GS350/GS200t
Eco Driving Indicator will not operat e under the following conditions:
●The shift lever is in any position other than D.
●A paddle shift switch is operated.
●Neither normal mode nor Eco drive mode is selected. (P. 2 9 3 )
●The vehicle speed is approximately 80 mph (130 km/h) or higher.

●The vehicle speed is approximately 80 mph (130 km/h) or higher. Eco Driving Indicator Light
During Eco-friendly acceleration (Eco driv-
ing), the Eco Driving Indicator Light will turn
on. When the acceleration exceeds the Zone
of Eco driving, or when the vehicle is stopped,
the light turns off.
Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display
Suggests the Zone of Eco driving with current
Eco driving ratio based on acceleration.
Eco driving ratio based on acceleration
If the acceleration exceeds the Zone of Eco
driving, the right side of the Eco Driving Indi-
cator Zone Display will illuminate.
Zone of Eco driving
During Eco-friendly acceleration (Eco driving),
the Eco Driving Indicator Light will turn on.
When the acceleration exceeds the Zone of
Eco driving, or when the vehicle is stopped, the
light turns off.
WA R N I N G
■If a safety system warning light does not come on
Should a safety system light such as the ABS and SRS warning light not come on when
you start the engine, this could mean that these systems are not available to help pro-
tect you in an accident, which could result in death or serious injury. Have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus dealer immediately if this occurs.

Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature
Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40F (-40 C) to 122 F
(50 C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37 F (3 C) or lower.
Clock
Time displayed is linked to the analog clock on the instrument panel. (P. 3 5 9 )
Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of driving-related data ( P. 1 0 0 )
Displays warning messages in case of a malfunction ( P. 4 5 9 )
Odometer and trip meter display
Odometer:
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven
Tr i p m e t e r :
Displays the distance the vehicle has been driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters “A” and “B” can be used to record and display different distances indepen-
dently.
Maintenance required information: • Displays the maintenance required informat ion when the engine switch is in IGNI-
TION ON mode.
• It can be reset from of the multi-information display. ( P. 100)

Displays the selected shift position or selected shift range (P. 202)

■Rev indicator (F SPORT models)
When the engine reaches a set
speed, a ring-shaped indicator will
be displayed on the tachometer.
■Rev peak (F SPORT models)
The engine speed reaches or
exceeds 5000 rpm, an afterimage
of the tachometer will be displayed
at the highest engine speed for
approximately 1 seconds.

Switches between odometer, trip meter
and maintenance required information
displays. When the trip meter is dis-
played, pressing and holding the button
will reset the trip meter.
The brightness of the instrument panel lights can be adjusted.

The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■Instrument panel brightness adjustment
The instrument panel brig htness levels when the tail ligh ts are on and off can be adjusted
individually. However, when the surroundings ar e bright (daytime, etc.), turning on the tail
lights will not change the instru ment panel brightness. At this time, any adjustments made
to the instrument panel bright ness levels will be applied to both settings at once.
■Limitation of brightness adjustment
The brightness of the instrume nt panel lights is automatically adjusted based on the light
sensor detecting how bright the surroundings are. However, if the instrument panel
brightness has been manually set to either th e brightest or darkest setting, the automatic
adjustment will not be performed.

■Outside temperature display
●In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or the
display may take longer than normal to change.
• When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
• When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a
garage, tunnel, etc.)
●When “--” or “E” is displayed, the system may be malfunctioning.
Take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer.
■Pop-up display
●In some situations, a pop-up display will be temporarily displayed on the multi-informa-
tion display or the odometer/trip meter/ maintenance required information screen.
●Some pop-up displays can be set on/off. ( P. 5 7 1 )
■Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is characteristic
of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem continuing to use the display.

The meter display can be customized on the multi-information display.

If the screen shown to the right is displayed
when trying to change the time display method
through ( P. 100) on the multi-infor-
mation display, the syst em may be malfunction-
ing.

WA R N I N G
■The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal information
display. At extremely low temperatures, th e information display monitor may respond
slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver’s shifting and the new gear number
appearing on the display. This lag could cau se the driver to downshift again, causing
rapid and excessive engine braking and po ssibly an accident resulting in death or
injury.

NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the engine and its components
●Do not let the indicator needle of the tachometer enter the red zone, which indicates
the maximum engine speed.
●The engine may be overheating if the engine coolant temperature gauge is in the red
zone (H). In this case, immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place, and check the
engine after it has cooled completely. (P. 5 2 8 )

Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of vehicle data (

Displays warning messages in case of a malfunction ( P. 4 5 9 )
Fuel gauge
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature. If the engine coolant temperature gauge
indicator ( ) enters the red zone, a buzzer will sound and the indicator will turn red
and start flashing. Also, a warning message will be displayed.
Engine oil temperature gauge
Displays the engine oil temperature. If the engine oil temperature gauge indicator
( ) enters the red zone, the indicator will turn red and start flashing.
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40°F (-40°C) to 122°F
(50°C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37°F (3°C) or lower.

friendly. This meter is designed as a guid eline to show the eco-friendliness of your
driving.
