■Changing engine switch modes
Modes can be changed by pressing the engine switch with brake pedal released. (The mode
changes each time the switch is pressed.)
Off*
The emergency flashers can be used.
ACCESSORY mode
Some electrical components such as
the audio system can be used.
The engine switch indicator turns
amber.
IGNITION ON mode
All electrical components can be used.
The engine switch indicator turns
amber.
*: If the shift lever is in a position other than
P when turning off the engine, the
engine switch will be turned to ACCES-
SORY mode, not to OFF.

■Basic operation
Press to display the hand s-free operation screen.
Press to display the “Information” screen.
Press to display th e “Setup” screen.
Press to display the home screen.
Press to display the air co nditioning control screen.

Press to display the audio/visual screen.
This system is operated mainly by selectin g the buttons on the screen. (Referred to as
screen buttons in this manual.)

■Home
Three-way split screen
Press the “HOME” button to display the
home screen.
The home screen can display multiple infor-
mation screens, such as the navigation sys-
tem screen, audio system screen and fuel
consumption screen, simultaneously. When
a screen is selected, the selected screen is
switched to a full-screen display.

Screen scroll operation
Use the scroll feature to move the desired
point to the center of the screen for looking
at a point on the map that is different from
the current position.
Cursor mark
Distance from the current position to
the cursor mark.
Zooms in on the map
Zooms out on the map
Select to return to the current position.
Select to register as a memory point.
Select to set as a destination.

Follow the procedure below to display the audio control screen.
Press the “AUDIO” button.

Some audio features can be controlled usin g the switches on the steering wheel.
Increases/decreases volume
Radio mode: Selects a radio station/
channel
Audio CD mode: Selects a track
MP3/WMA/AAC disc mode: Selects
a file
DVD mode: Selects a chapter
iPod mode: Selects a track/file

Press: Selects a preset station
Press and hold: Seeks for a station
■Entering station presets
Tune in the desired station.
Select “add new”.
Select “Yes” on the confirmation screen.
Select “OK” after setting the new preset station.
Radio mode has a mix preset function, which ca n store up to 36 stations (6 stations per
page x 6 pages) from any of the AM, FM or SAT bands.
