Bluetooth® audio system
â– Conditions under which the system will not operate
●If using a portable player that does not support Bluetooth®
â—ŹIf the portable player is switched off
â—ŹIf the portable player is not connected
●If the portable player’s battery is low
â—ŹIf the portable player is behind the seat or in the glove box or console box
â—ŹIf metal is covering or touching the portable player
The Bluetooth® audio system enables you to enjoy music played on a por-
table digital audio player (portable player) from the vehicle speakers via
wireless communication.
This audio system supports Bluetooth
®, a wireless data system capable of
playing portable audio music without cables. If your portable player does
not support Bluetooth
®, the Bluetooth® audio system will not function.
Vehicles with a navigation system
Owners of models equipped with a navigation system should refer to
the “Navigation System Owner's Manual”.

●If using a mobile phone that does not support Bluetooth®
â—ŹIf the mobile phone is switched off
â—ŹIf you are outside service range
â—ŹIf the mobile phone is not connected
â—ŹIf the mobile phone's battery is low
â—ŹIf the mobile phone is behind the seat or in the glove box or console box
â—ŹIf metal is covering or touching the phone
â– When using the hands-free system
â—ŹThe audio system and voice guidance are muted when making a call.
â—ŹIf both parties speak at the same time, it may be difficult to hear.
â—ŹIf the incoming call volume is overly loud, an echo may be heard.
â—ŹTry to face toward the microphone as much as possible when speaking.
â—ŹIn the following circumstances, it may be difficult to hear the other party:
• When driving on unpaved roads
• When driving at high speeds
• When a window is open
• When the air conditioning is blowing directly on the microphone
• When the air conditioning is set to high
â– When transferring ownership of the vehicle
Be sure to initialize the system to prevent personal data from being improperly

â– To prevent the battery from being discharged
If the interior lights remain on when the door is not fully closed and the interior light
switch (door position on/off) is on, the lights will go off automatically after 20 min-
utes.
â– Customization that can be configured at Lexus dealer

Front scuff lights (if equipped)
Outer foot lights
Turning the instrument panel light control knob fully to the left disables the
shift lever lights and front footwell lights.

Power outlet
â– The power outlet can be used when
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode.
NOTICE
â– To avoid damaging the power outlet
Close the power outlet lid when the power outlet is not in use.
Foreign objects or liquids that enter the power outlet may cause a short circuit.
â– To prevent the fuse from being blown
Do not use an accessory that uses more than 12 V 10 A.
â– To prevent the battery from being discharged
Do not use the power outlet longer than necessary when the engine is off.
The power outlet can be used for 12 V accessories that run on less than 10
A.

â—ŹUse caution when seating the following persons in a seat with the seat heater on
to avoid the possibility of burns:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the disabled
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs,cold remedies, etc.)
â—ŹDo not cover the seat with anything when using the seat heater.
Using the seat heater with a blanket or cushion increases the temperature of the
seat and may lead to overheating.
NOTICE
â– To prevent seat heater damage
Do not put unevenly weighted objects on the seat and do not stick sharp objects
(needles, nails, etc.) into the seat.
â– To prevent battery discharge
Turn the switches off when the engine is off.

They may get caught, causing injury.

Do not operate the rear sunshade when the engine is not running.
â– To ensure normal operation of the sunshade
Observe the following precautions.
â—ŹDo not place excessive load on the motor or other components.
â—ŹDo not place objects where they may hinder opening and closing operations.
â—ŹDo not attach items to the rear sunshade.
â—ŹKeep the opening clean and clear of obstructions.
â—ŹDo not operate the rear sunshade continuously over long periods of time.

Circling calibration
When “C” appears on the display,
drive the vehicle at 5 mph (8 km/h)
or less in a circle until a direction is
displayed.
If there is not enough space to
drive in a circle, drive around the
block until the direction is dis-
played.
â– Conditions unfavorable to correct operation
The compass may not show the correct direction in the following conditions:
â—ŹThe vehicle is stopped immediately after turning.
â—ŹThe vehicle is on an inclined surface.
â—ŹThe vehicle is in a place where the earth's magnetic field is subject to interfer-
ence by artificial magnetic fields (underground car park/parking lot, under a
steel tower, between buildings, roof car park/parking lot, near an intersection,
near a large vehicle, etc.).
â—ŹThe vehicle has become magnetized.
(There is a magnet or metal object near the inside rear view mirror.)
â—ŹThe battery has been disconnected.
â—ŹA door is open.
