Using the instrument panel
1Each time the “RADIO” or “ME-
DIA” button is pressed, the audio
control mode changes.
“RADIO” button: To display the radio
operation screen.
“MEDIA” button: To display the exter-
nal media operation screen.
Using the Remote Touch
1Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch.
2Select “Audio”.

4Select the desired source.

Using the instrument panel
Press the “RADIO” button to display the audio control screen.
Using the Remote Touch

the audio control screen.

“Presets” screen: Turn to select preset stations/ensembles.

“DAB time shift” screen: Turn to jump forward/backwards.
Press to turn mute on/off.
Press to move up/down the preset stations/ensembles.
Press to move up/down the station list.
Press and hold 0.8 sec. or more to seek up/down available stations/ensembles
continuously while the button is being pressed.
Press to select a radio mode.
While in a radio mode, pressing the “RADIO” button changes radio modes.
Power/Volume knob:
Turn to adjust volume.
Press to turn the audio system on/off.
Press and hold to restart the audio system.
INFORMATION
The radio automatically changes to stereo reception when a stereo broadcast is
received.
If the signal becomes weak, the radio reduces the amount of channel separation to
prevent the weak signal from creating noise. If the signal becomes extremely weak,
the radio switches from stereo to mono reception.

1Tune in the desired station.
2Select one of the screen buttons (1-6)
and hold it until a beep is heard.
The station’s frequency will be dis-
played in the screen button.
To change the preset station to a differ-
ent one, follow the same procedure.

The tuner will automatically seek a
station that regularly broadcasts traf-
fic information and the station broad-
casts when the traffic information
program starts.
INFORMATION
When TA is set to “On” (P.248),
the radio will begin seeking a TP sta-
tion.
When the program ends, the initial
operation resumes.
The volume level when receiving the
traffic announcement is memorized.

Select and hold “<<” or “>>” to fast

TIME SHIFT OPERATION
(DAB)
The service you are currently listen-
ing to can be re-listened to at any
time.
INFORMATION
The times at which playback is possi-
ble depend on the bit rate of the DAB
station to be recorded, the amount of
DAB unit memory, and the time at
which reception of the broadcast
began.

CAUTION
Do not operate the player’s controls or connect to the Bluetooth® audio system
while driving.
Your audio unit is fitted with Bluetooth
® antennas. People with implanted pace-
makers or cardiac defibrillators should maintain a reasonable distance between
themselves and the Bluetooth
® antennas. The radio waves may affect the operation
of such devices.
Before using Bluetooth
® devices, users of any electrical medical device other than
implanted pacemakers and implanted cardiac defibrillators should consult the man-
ufacturer of the device for information about its operation under the influence of
radio waves. Radio waves could have unexpected effects on the operation of such
medical devices.
NOTICE
Do not leave your portable player in the vehicle. In particular, high temperatures
inside the vehicle may damage the portable player.
INFORMATION
Depending on the Bluetooth® device that is connected to the system, the music may
start playing when selecting while it is paused. Conversely, the music may
pause when selecting while it is playing.
In the following conditions, the system may not function:
• The Bluetooth
® device is turned off.
• The Bluetooth
® device is not connected.
• The Bluetooth
® device has a low battery.
It may take time to connect the telephone when Bluetooth
® audio is being played.
For operating the portable player, see the instruction manual that comes with it.
If the Bluetooth
® device is disconnected due to poor reception from the Bluetooth®
network when the engine switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON
mode, the system automatically reconnects the portable player.
If the Bluetooth
® device is disconnected on purpose, such as it was turned off, this
does not happen. Reconnect the portable player manually.
Bluetooth
® device information is registered when the Bluetooth® device is con-
nected to the Bluetooth® audio system. When selling or disposing of the vehicle,
remove the Bluetooth® audio information from the system. (P. 8 0 )
