*: Your Lexus vehicle is filled with “Toyota Genuine Differential Gear Oil” at the factory.
Use Lexus approved “Toyota Genuine Differentia l Gear Oil” or an equivalent of match-
ing quality to satisfy the above specification. Please contact any authorized Lexus retailer
or Lexus authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer for further details.
*1: Minimum pedal clearance when depressed with a force of 500 N (51.0 kgf, 112.4 lbf)
while the engine is running .
When performing the brake pedal inspection, also be sure to check that the brake sys-
tem warning light is not illuminated when the en gine is running ing>. (If the brake system warning light is illuminated, refer to P.368)
*2: Make sure to confirm that the brake system wa rning light (yellow) does not illuminate. (If
the brake system warning ligh t illuminates, refer to P.373)
