To enter M mode, shift the shift position to M. Gears can be selected by operating the pad-
dle shift switches, allowing you to drive in the gear of your choosing.
1Upshifting
2Downshifting
The gear changes once every time the pad-
dle shift switch is operated.
The selected gear, from M1 to M10, will be
fixed and displayed in the meter.
Selecting gears in the M position
When in the M position, the gear will not chan ge unless the paddle shift switches are oper-
ated.
However, even when in the M position, the ge ars will be automatically changed in the fol-
lowing situation:
● When vehicle speed drops (downshift only).
● When it is necessary to protect the engine or automatic transmission when the engine
coolant temperature is low, the automatic transmission fluid temperature is high or low
or other reasons.
Also, the gear will not shift when the vehicle speed is low, even if an upshift operation is per-
formed.

■Changing settings of the head-up display
Select on the multi-information display to change the following settings:
● Display brightness/position
Select to adjust the brightness and position of the head-up display.
● Eco Driving Indicator/tachometer
Select to display Eco Driving Indi cator, tachometer or no content.
● Display content
Select to enable/disable the following items:
• Route guidance to destination
• Driving assist system status
•Compass
• Audio system operation status
● Display angle
Select to adjust the angle of the head-up display.

Displayed content is the same as that
displayed on the multi-information dis-
play (Eco Driving Indicator).
■Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute.

The head-up display may seem dark and hard to see when viewed through sunglasses,
especially polar ized sunglasses.
Adjust the brightness of the head-up display or remove your sunglasses.

Press the LKA switch to turn the LKA sys-
tem on.
The LKA indicator illuminates and a mes-
sage is displayed on the multi-information
display.
Press the LKA switch again to turn the LKA
system off.
When the LKA system is turned on or off,
operation of the LKA system continues in
the same condition the next time the engine
is started.
LKA (Lane-Keeping Assist)
When driving on highways and freeways with white or yellow lines, this function alerts the
driver when the vehicle might depart from it s lane and provides assistance by operating
the steering wheel to keep the vehicle in its lane. Furthermore, the system also provides
steering assistance when dynamic radar cruise control with full-speed range is operating
to keep the vehicle in its lane.
The LKA system recognizes visible white or yellow lines with the front camera on the
upper portion of the front windshield.

Fine adjustment: Press the switch.
Large adjustment: Press and hold the switch
to change the speed, and release when the
desired speed is reached.
Pressing the switch ch anges the vehicle-to-
vehicle distance as follows:

2Medium
3Short
The vehicle-to-vehicle distance is set auto-
matically to long mode when the engine
switch is turned to ON.
If a vehicle is running ahead of you, the pre-
ceding vehicle mark will also be dis-
played.

4Sport mode
•SPORT S modeControls the transmission and engine to provide quick, powerful acceleration. This
mode is suitable for when agile driving resp onse is desired, such as when driving on
roads with many curves.
When not in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned backward,
the “Sport S” indicator comes on.
•SPORT S+ mode Provides earlier downshift timing than SP ORT S mode in order to maintain a high
engine speed and provides faster gear chan ges. This mode also changes the steering
feel, suspension control and VDIM
* control, making it suitable for powerful sporty
driving.
When in SPORT S mode, if the driving mode select switch is turned backward, the
“Sport S+” indicator comes on.

1Turn the engine switch to ON.
2Press or of the meter control switches and select .
3Press or of the meter control switch es and select “Vehicle Settings”, then
press “OK”.
4Press or of the meter control switch es and select “TPWS SET”, then press
“OK”.
5Press or of the meter co ntrol switches and select “Set tire pressure”. Then
press and hold “OK” until the tire pressure warning light starts blinking.
A message is displayed on the multi-infor-
mation display. Also, “--” is displayed for
inflation pressure of each tire on the multi-
information display while the tire pressure
warning system determines the position.
6Drive the vehicle at approximately 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for approximately 10 to
30 minutes.
When initialization is comple te, the inflation pressure of each tire will be displayed on
the multi-information display.

Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, then select on the menu screen, and
then select “Trip Information” or “History”.

If a screen other than “Trip Information” is displayed, select “Trip Information”.

1Depress the brake pedal.
2Touch the Lexus emblem side of the
electronic key to the engine switch.
When the electronic key is detected, a
buzzer sounds and the engine switch
will turn to ON.
When the smart access system with
push-button start is deactivated in cus-
tomization setting, the engine switch
will turn to ACC.
3Firmly depress the brake pedal and check that is shown on the multi-informa-
tion display.
4Press the engine switch.
In the event that the engine still cannot be started, contact your Lexus dealer.
Starting the engine
If the electronic key battery becomes depleted, a warning message will be shown on the
multi-information display. Replace the battery wi th a new one. For instructions on replacing
the battery, refer to the “OWNER’S MANUAL”.
