*5W-30 is an oil that provides optimal levels of fuel efficiency
Oil viscosity
• “5W” oils are for use in ar
eas where the ambient temperature is -13 F (-
25 C) or above. “10W” oils are fo r areas where the ambient tempera -
ture is -4 F (-
20C) or above. Oils with smaller figures are better for
engine starting in cold we ather and fuel efficiency.
• “XX-30” indicates oil viscosity. O ils with lar
ger figures have better ther-
mostability and are good for high-speed driving.
