If the fan speed setting or air flow modes are operated, the automatic mode
indicator goes off. However, automati c mode for functions other than that
operated are maintained. ■

Heated steering wheel ∗

∗ : If equippedHeated steering wheel and seat heaters heat the side grips of the steering
wheel and seats. Seat ventilators maintain good airflow by blowing air from
the seats. WARNING ●
Care should be taken to prevent injury if anyone in the following categories comes in
contact with the steering wheel and seats when the heater is on:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the ph ysically challenged
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping drugs, cold
remedies, etc.) ●
Observe the following precautions to pr event the minor burns or overheating:
• Do not cover the seat with a blanket or cushion when using the seat heater.
• Do not use seat heater more than necessary.
NOTICE ●
Do not put heavy objects that have an unev en surface on the seat and do not stick
sharp objects (needles, nails, etc.) into the seat. ●
To prevent battery discharge, do not us e the functions when the engine is off.

Automatic operation
Operates automatically according to

when “CLIMATE CONCIERGE”

Manual operation

The heated steering wheel can be used when
The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode. ■
Timer function
Automatic operation: Operates for a maximum of 30 minutes.
(Turns off according to outside and cabin temperature.)
Manual operation: Turns off after approximately 30 minutes. ■
If the indicator light flashes
Press the switch to turn the heated steering wheel off and then press the switch again. If
the indicator light still flashes, a malfunction may be occurri ng. Turn the heated steering
wheel off and have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer. ■
Customization
The automatic turning on/off of the heated steering wheel can be customized. (Custom-

Seat heater switches The indicator light (yellow) on the switch comes on when the seat heater is operating.
Seat ventilator switches (if equipped) The indicator light (green) on the switch co mes on when the seat ventilator is operat-
ing.
Level indicator lights The seat heater temperature level or the seat ventilator fan speed level (if equipped) is
displayed.

Illuminated entry system
The lights automatically turn on/off according to engine switch mode, the presence of the
electronic key, whether the doors are locked/unlocked, and whether the doors are
open/closed. ■
To prevent battery discharge
If the interior lights remain on when the engine switch is turn ed off, the lights will go off
automatically after 20 minutes: ■
Customization
Settings (e.g. adjust the time elapsed before th e interior lights automatically turn off) can

following when cabin temperature becomes high: ●
Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into contact with other
stored items. ●
Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other stored items,
the lighter may catch fire or the spray ca n may release gas, causing a fire hazard.1
