Front side marker light (bulb type)
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.■
Front turn signal lights (bulb type)
Open the hood and remove the cover for engine compartment cover.
( P. 500, 503)
Remove the cover.
Push the center of the clip.
Remove the clip and cover.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise. 1

Align the 2 tabs positions and
close the cover.
Fix the cover by pushing the
center of the clip.
Install the engine compartment cover. ( P. 5 0 3 )■
Rear turn signal lights
Open the back door and attach
protective tape around the lamp
body. (Use masking tape, do not
use Duct tape, as duct tape may
leave markings.)
Remove the cover. It is recommended for safeguarding
to wrap the tip of the screwdriver
with a cloth, etc., in order to prevent
scratches to the vehicle.
Remove the 2 bolts. 8

Replacing the following bulbs
If any of the lights listed below has burnt out, have it replaced by your Lexus
dealer. ●
Headlight low beams ●
Headlight high beams (LED type) ●
Front turn signal lights (LED type) ●
Parking lights and Daytime running lights ●
Front fog lights ●
Front side marker lights (LED type) ●
Side turn signal lights ●
Stop/tail lights ●
Rear side marker lights ●
High mounted stoplight ●
License plate lights ●
Outer foot lights ■
After replacing the bulbs
■
LED lights
The headlight low beams, headlight high beams (LED Type), front turn signal lights (LED
Type), parking lights, daytime running lights, front fog lights, front side marker lights (LED
Type), side turn signal lights, rear side ma rker lights, stop/tail lights, rear side marker
lights, high mounted stoplight and license plate lights, outer foot lights consist of a num-
ber of LEDs. If any of the LEDs burn out, take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer to have
the light replaced. ■
Condensation build-up on the inside of the lens
Temporary condensation build-up on the inside of the headlight lens does not indicate a
malfunction. Contact your Lexus dealer for mo re information in the following situations:●
Large drops of water have built up on the inside of the lens.●
Wa t e r h a s b u i l t u p i n side the headlight.■

them off, press the switch once again.

Emergency flashers
If the emergency flashers are used for a long time while the hybrid system is not operat-
ing (while the “READY” indicator is not illu minated), the 12-volt battery may discharge.The emergency flashers are used to warn other drivers when the vehicle has
to be stopped in the road due to a breakdown, etc.

: While carrying the electronic key on your person, press the back door opener switch. ■
Vehicle customization ●
When the speed linked door locking functi on and shift position linked door locking
function are both on, the door lock operates as follows.
• When shifting the shift lever to any position other than P, all th e doors will be locked.
• If the vehicle is started with all the door s locked, the speed linked door locking func-
tion would not operate.
• If the vehicle is started with any door un locked, the speed linked door locking func-
tion will operate. ●
When the smart access system with push-but ton start is off, smart door unlocking can-
not be customized. ●
When the doors remain closed after unloc king the doors and the automatic door lock
function is activated, the signals will be generated in accordance with the Operation
signal (buzzer) and the Operation signal (emergency flashers) settings. ■
In the following situations, customize mo de in which the settings can be changed
through the multi-in formation display will automatically be turned off.●
A warning message appears after the cu stomize mode screen is displayed.●
The power switch is turned off. ●
The vehicle begins to move while the customize mode screen is displayed.Function Default
