When trouble arises point positions.
4 Install the wheel nut wrench in jack
handle.
5 Raise the vehicle until the tire is
slightly raised off the ground.
6 Remove all the wheel nuts and the
tire.When resting the tire on the ground, place
the tire so that the wh eel design faces up to avoid scratching the wheel surface.

Replacing a flat tire ●
Observe the following precautions.
Failure to do so may result in serious
injury:
• Do not try to remove the wheel orna-
ment by hand. Take due care in han-
dling the ornament to avoid
unexpected personal injury.
• Do not touch the disc wheels or the
area around the brakes immediately
after the vehicle has been driven.
After the vehicle has been driven the
disc wheels and the area around the
brakes will be extremely hot. Touching
these areas with hands, feet or other
body parts while changing a tire, etc.
may result in burns.

If you cannot release the shift lever
by depressing the brake pedal with
the power switch in ON mode

 It is locked automatically to prevent
theft of the vehicle. ( → P.169)
 Is the window lock switch pressed?
The power window except for the
one at the driver’s seat cannot be
operated if the window lock switch
is pressed. ( → P.145)
 The auto power off function will be
operated if the vehicle is left in
ACCESSORY or ON mode (the
hybrid system is not operating) for a
period of time. ( → P.170)
 The seat belt reminder light is flash-
ing

ger wearing the seat belts?
