◆Using the content display area
The content display area is operated using the meter control switches. : Select menu icons

■Registering a top screen
The displayed top screen can be changed to a registered screen of your
choice.
To register a screen as the top screen, display the desired screen and press
and hold .
• A message asking to confirm if registrati on is desired will be displayed. If the
selected screen cannot be registered, a registration failure message will be dis- played.• When no screen has been registered, th e drive information screen will be dis-
played.
■Resetting drive information
To reset the average fuel economy (after reset)/average vehicle speed (after
reset)/elapsed time (after reset) that are displayed on , display the desired
item and press and hold .
If both of the displayed items are rese ttable, a message will be displayed asking which item(s) to reset.
◆Using the odometer/trip meter display area
Items in this area are operated using the “ODO/TRIP” switch.
Press: Change displayed item
Each time the switch is pressed, the displayed item will be changed.
Press and hold: Reset
Display the desired trip meter and
press and hold the switch to reset the trip meter.

When refueling, turn the engine switch off. If the vehicle is refueled without turning the
engine switch off, the display may not be updated.

■Eco Driving Indicator

■Sway warning (if equipped)
Detects the sway of the vehicle within a lane, which is often associated with a
decrease in the driver's attention level, and displays the decrease in attention
using a bar display.
The shorter the bar length, the more the driver may need to rest.
This display is a part of the LKA (Lan e-Keeping Assist) system. The display is
enabled when the operating conditions of the vehicle sway warning are met. ( P. 313)
■ AWD Control (if equipped)
Displays the driving force applied to each wheel using segments.
The greater the number of segments displayed, the greater the driving force
applied.

Displays lateral G-forces on the vehicle.
Also displays, around the periphery of the G-force display, the left and right

If lateral G-forces of 0.5 G or grea ter are generated, the G-force value
display will turn amber and be held for 2 seconds.

■Stop & Start system operation time (current)/status notification
Displays the current amount of time the engine has been stopped due to the
operation of the Stop & Start system. Also shows the status of the Stop & Start
system with a pop-up display. ( P. 352)
■Stop & Start system total operation time/amount of fuel saved
Press or on the steering wheel to display the following items:
●Stop & Start system operation time (after start/after reset)
Displays the accumulated total of the following:
• Stop & Start system operation time since engine start
• Stop & Start system operation time since display was reset
●Amount of fuel saved (a fter start/after reset)
Displays the accumulated total of the following:
• Amount of fuel saved since engine start
• Amount of fuel saved since display was reset
Use the displayed amount of saved fuel for reference only.
■Stop & Start system settings
Press on the steering wheel to display the Stop & Start system settings
screen.
On this screen, the following operations can be performed:
● Stop & Start
The length of time the Stop & Start syst em will operate when the “A/C” switch of
the air conditioning system is on can be set to 2 different levels. This setting can
also be changed on .
●Reset
Select to reset the Stop & Start system operation time/amount of fuel saved dis-
play.
To reset, move the cursor to “Reset”, and then press and hold .

◆Display items
■Odometer
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven.
■Trip meter A/trip meter B
Displays the distance the vehicle has been driven since the meter was last
reset. Trip meters A and B can be used to record and display different dis-
tances independently.
To reset, display the desired trip meter and press and hold the “ODO/TRIP”
switch.
■ Distance until next engine oil change
Displays the distance the vehicle can be driven until an oil change is neces-
sary.
◆Pop-up display
In some situations the following will be temporarily displayed:
■ Stop & Start system operation time (current) (if equipped)
This display will be displayed when the engine is stopped due to the operation
of the Stop & Start system.
■ Distance until next engine oil change
Displays the distance until the next engine oil change. This display will be dis-
played in the following situations:
• When the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode.
• When a warning message indicating that oil maintenance should be performed
soon or is required is displayed.
◆Speed warning
When set to on, the vehicle speed at which the speed warning will start oper-
ating will be displayed. If the vehicle exceeds the set speed, the speed display
will flash and a buzzer will sound.
• To display the odometer, etc. while the speed warning is set to on, press the “ODO/ TRIP” switch. (If the switch has not been operated for a certain amount of time, the
speed warning will be displayed.)
• The speed at which the speed warning w ill start operating can be changed on .

■Head-up display
The head-up display may seem dark or hard to see when viewed through sunglasses,
especially polarized sunglasses.
Adjust the brightness of the head-u p display or remove your sunglasses.
■When the battery is disconnected
The customize settings of the head-up display will be reset.
■Display brightness
The brightness of the head-up display can be adjusted on of the multi-information
display. Also, it is automatically adjust ed according to the ambient brightness.
■Enabling/disabling of the head-up display
If the head-up display is disabled, it will rema in disabled when the engine switch is turned
off then back to IGNITION ON mode.
■Street name display (vehicles with a navigation system)
Only street names which are included in the map data will be displayed.
WARNING
■Before using the head-up display
●Check that the position and brightness of the head-up display image does not inter-
fere with safe driving. Incorrect adjustment of the image’s position or brightness may
obstruct the driver’s view and lead to an accident, resulting in death or serious injury.
●Do not continuously look at the head-up display while driving as you may fail to see
pedestrians, objects on the road, etc. ahead of the vehicle.
■Caution for changing settings of the head-up display
As the engine needs to be running while changing the settings of the head-up display,
ensure that the vehicle is parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area
such as a garage, exhaust gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO) may collect
and enter the vehicle. This may lead to death or a serious health hazard.
