EXTERIOR MIRRORS
Power Exterior Mirrors
WARNING:Do not adjust the mirror while the vehicle is in
motion.
A. Left mirror
B. Adjustment control
C. Right mirror
To adjust your mirrors:
1. Press the button to select the mirror you want to adjust. An indicator
light on the button will illuminate.
2. Use the adjustment control to adjust the position of the mirror.
3. Press the mirror button again to deselect the mirror. The indicator
light will turn off.
Fold-Away Exterior Mirrors
Push the mirror toward the door window glass. Make sure that you fully
engage the mirror in its support when returning it to its original position.
Heated Exterior Mirror
Note:Do not remove ice from the mirrors with a scraper or attempt to
readjust the mirror glass if it is frozen in place. These actions could
cause damage to the glass and mirrors.
Note:Do not clean the housing or glass of any mirror with harsh
abrasives, fuel or other petroleum-based cleaning products.
Both mirrors are heated automatically to remove ice, mist and fog when
the rear window defrost is activated.
Memory Mirrors
Mirror positions can be saved and recalled through the memory function.
Refer to theSeatschapter.

REAR PASSENGER CLIMATE CONTROL (IF EQUIPPED)
Depending on your vehicle equipment, you may not have all the features
shown below.
A.Fan control:Turn to increase or decrease the fan speed or choose
the following:
•O:Select to switch the rear climate system fan off
•AUTO:Select to switch to automatic fan speed control. The system
automatically determines fan speed in order to reach and maintain the
desired temperature.
B.Heated seat controls (if equipped):Press to switch the heated
seats on and off. Refer toHeated seatsin theSeatschapter for more
information.
C.Air distribution control:Press repeatedly to select airflow as
follows:
Distributes air through the overhead vents of the second and
third row seating areas.
Distributes air through the floor of the second or third row
seating areas.
Distributes air through the floor and overhead vents of the
second and third row seating areas.
D.Temperature control:Controls the temperature of the air circulated
in the rear of the vehicle. Turn to select the desired temperature.
E.
Cooled seat control (if equipped):Press to switch the cooled
seats on and off. Refer toHeated and cooled seatsin theSeatschapter
for more information.

F.AUTO:Press to activate automatic control of the airflow direction in
the rear of the vehicle. The system automatically determines the airflow
distribution in order to reach and maintain the desired temperature.
G.REAR LOCK:Illuminates when the rear climate system is being
controlled by the front controls. The rear climate controls do not work
when this is illuminated.
GENERAL OPERATING TIPS
•To reduce fog build-up on the windshield during humid weather, select
Defrost. Temperature and fan speed can also be increased to improve
clearing.
•To reduce humidity build-up inside the vehicle, do not drive with the
system off or with recirculated air engaged.
•Do not put objects under the front seats that will interfere with the
airflow to the back seats.
•Remove any snow, ice or leaves from the air intake area at the base of
the windshield.
•To improve the A/C cool down, drive with the windows slightly open
for 2-3 minutes after start up or until the vehicle has been aired out.
•A small amount of air may be felt from the floor vent regardless of the
air distribution setting that is selected.
During extreme high ambient temperatures when idling stationary for
extended periods of time in gear, it is recommended to run the A/C in
the MAX A/C mode, adjust the blower fan speed to the lowest setting
and put the vehicle’s transmission into the P (Park) position to continue
to receive cool air from your A/C system.
For maximum cooling performance MAX A/C in AUTO, press MAX A/C.
For maximum cooling performance MAX A/C in manual override control:
1. Choose Panel, A/C, and recirculation controls.
2. Set the temperature to LO.
3. Set the fan to the highest blower setting.
To aid in side window defogging/demisting in cold or humid weather:
1. Select Defrost or Floor/Defrost mode. To maximize performance
select Defrost.
2. Select A/C.
3. Adjust the temperature control to maintain comfort.
4. Set the fan speed to the highest setting.

REMOTE START CLIMATE OPERATION (IF EQUIPPED)
The climate control system adjusts the cabin temperature during remote
start.
You cannot adjust the system during remote start operation. Turn the
ignition on to return the system to its previous settings. You can now
make adjustments. You will need to turn certain vehicle-dependent
features back on, such as:
•Heated seats.
•Cooled seats.
•Heated steering wheel.
•Heated mirrors.
•Rear defroster.
You can adjust the settings using the information display controls. See
theInformation Displayschapter.
Automatic Climate Systems
In hot weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). Cooled seats are set to
high (if available and selected to AUTO in the message center).
In moderate weather, the system either heats or cools (based on previous
settings). The rear defroster, heated mirrors and heated/cooled seats are
not automatically turned on.
In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). The heated seats are
set to high (if available and selected to AUTO in the message center).
The rear defroster and heated mirrors are automatically turned on.

To reinstall the non-adjustable head restraint, do the following:
•Remove:Pull up the head restraint until it reaches the highest
adjustment position and then press and hold the guide sleeve
unlock/remove buttons, then pull up on the head restraint.
•Reinstall:Align the steel stems into the guide sleeves and push the
head restraint down until it locks.
Third row head restraints (if
equipped)
The head restraints consist of:
A. Energy absorbing head restraint
B. Steel stems
C. Fold strap
•Fold:pull the fold strap (c). Pull it back up to reset.
Note:Pressing the stow or fold button on power folding seats will
automatically fold the head restraint.
Tilting Head Restraints (if equipped)
The front head restraints may have a tilting feature for extra comfort. To
tilt the head restraint, do the following:
1. Adjust the seatback to an upright driving/riding
position.
2. Pivot the head restraint forward toward your head
to the desired position.
After the head restraint reaches the forward-most tilt position, pivoting it
forward again will then release it to the rearward, un-tilted position.

Power Lumbar (limo/livery)

The lumbar control is located on the side of the seat cushion.
Press the front/rear of the control to
adjust firmness/softness.
Press the top/bottom of the control
to raise/lower the height of the
lumbar support.
MEMORY FUNCTION (IF EQUIPPED)
This memory control, located on the
driver’s door, allows automatic
positioning of the driver seat, power
mirrors, steering column (if
equipped) and power adjustable foot
pedals (if equipped) to three
programmable positions.

Programming a memory position
Note:A memory position may be programmed at any time.
•To program position 1, move the memory features to the desired
positions using the associated controls. Press and hold button 1 for at
least two seconds. A chime will sound confirming that a memory
position has been set.
•To program position 2 and 3, repeat the previous procedure using the
respective buttons.
Recalling a memory position
A programmed memory position can be recalled:
•in any gearshift position if the ignition isnoton.
•only in P (Park) or N (Neutral) if the ignition is on.
Press the desired memory control to recall a memory position.
Recalling memory positions with the remote control
The memory positions are also recalled when you press unlock on your
remote control (if the transmitter is programmed to a memory position)
or, when you enter a valid personal entry code that is programmed to a
memory position. If the easy entry feature is enabled, the seat will first
move to the easy entry position. The seat will move to the final position
when the key is in the ignition or when the push button start system (if
equipped) is put in accessory mode/started.
To program the memory feature to a remote control, refer toKeys and
remote control.
Easy access/easy out feature
This feature automatically moves the steering wheel all the way up and
in and moves the driver’s seat rearward 2 in. (5 cm) when:
•the transmission is in N (Neutral) or P (Park)
•the ignition is turned off
The seat and steering wheel will move to the original position when:
•the transmission is in N (Neutral) or P (Park)
•the ignition is put in accessory mode/started
The easy entry feature can be turned off or on through the vehicle
message center. Refer to theInformation Displa yschapter.

HEATED SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)
WARNING:Persons who are unable to feel pain to the skin
because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord
injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustion, or other physical conditions,
must exercise care when using the seat heater. The seat heater may
cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long
periods of time. Do not place anything on the seat that insulates against
heat, such as a blanket or cushion, because this may cause the seat
heater to overheat. Do not puncture the seat with pins, needles, or
other pointed objects because this may damage the heating element
which may cause the seat heater to overheat. An overheated seat may
cause serious personal injury.
The heated seats will only function when the ignition is in the on
position.
Note:Do not do the following:
•Place heavy objects on the seat
•Operate the seat heater if water or any other liquid is spilled on the
seat. Allow the seat to dry thoroughly.
To operate the heated seats:
Press the heated seat symbol/button to cycle through the
various heat settings and off. Warmer settings are indicated
by more indicator lights.
Second-row Heated and Cooled Seats (if equipped)
The second-row heated and cooled seat controls are located on the rear
of the floor console. They function the same as the front-row heated and
cooled seats.
Second-row Climate Controlled Seats Air Filter Replacement
The climate controlled seat system includes air filters that must be
replaced periodically. Refer to thescheduled maintenance information
for more information.
There is an air filter located under the rear of each second-row seat. You
can tumble the seat forward to access the filter.
