Front Airbag
Lights when you start your vehicle.If it continues to flash or remainson, it indicates a malfunction. Havean authorized dealer check the system.
Grade Assist
Lights when you switch on thegrade assist function.
Heads Up Display (If Equipped)
A red beam of lights appears onthe windshield in certain instanceswhen using adaptive cruise controland/or the collision warning system. To makesure the display works, it will also appearmomentarily when you start your vehicle.
Headlamp High Beam Indicator
Lights when you switch on thehigh-beam headlamps. Flasheswhen you use the headlampflasher.
Hood Ajar
Lights when the ignition is on andthe hood is not completely closed.
Lane Keeping System Lamp (If Equipped)
Lights when you activate the lanekeeping system.
Low Fuel Level Warning Lamp
Lights when the fuel level is low orthe fuel tank is nearly empty. Refuel as soon as possible.
Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp
It illuminates when your tirepressure is low. If the lamp remainson with the engine running orwhen driving, check your tire pressure assoon as possible.
It also illuminates momentarily when youswitch the ignition on to confirm the lamp isfunctional. If it does not illuminate when youswitch the ignition on, or begins to flash atany time, have the system checked by yourauthorized dealer.
Low Washer Fluid Level Warning Lamp
Lights when the windshield washerfluid is low.
Parking Lamps
Lights when you switch on theparking lamps.
Powertrain Fault
Lights when your vehicle detectsa powertrain fault. Contact anauthorized dealer as soon aspossible.

When you switch the system on and itdetects an unintentional drift out of your laneis likely to occur, the system notifies orassists you to stay in your lane through thesteering system and information display.Depending on the feature operation modeyou select, the system provides a warningby vibrating the steering wheel or a steeringassistance by gently counter steering yourvehicle back into the lane.
Switching the System On and Off
Note:The system on or off setting is storeduntil it is manually changed, unless a MyKey™is detected. If the system detects a MyKey™,it defaults to on and the mode is set to alert.
Press the button on the direction indicatorstalk to switch the system on or off.
System Settings
The system has optional setting menusavailable. The system stores the last-knownselection for each of these settings. You donot need to readjust your settings each timeyou switch on the system.
Mode: This setting allows you to select whichof the system features you can enable.
Alert only – Provides a steering wheelvibration when the system detects anunintended lane departure.
Aid only – Provides steering assistancetoward the lane center when the systemdetects an unintended lane departure.

Alert + Aid – Provides steering assistancetoward the lane center.
If your vehicle continues drifting out of thelane after the lane keeping aid corrects thevehicle, the system provides a steeringwheel vibration.
Note:The alert and aid diagrams illustrategeneral zone coverage. They do not provideexact zone parameters.
Intensity: This setting affects the intensity ofthe steering wheel vibration used for the alertand alert + aid modes. This setting does notaffect the aid mode.

System Display
If you switch the system on in alert mode, anoverhead graphic of a vehicle with lanemarkings appears in the information display.
If you switch the system on in aid or alert andaid mode, a separate white icon alsoappears, or in some vehicles, arrows displaywith the lane markings.
When you switch the system off, the lanemarking graphics do not display.
While the system is on, the color of the lanemarkings change to indicate the systemstatus.
Gray: Indicates that the system is temporarilyunable to provide a warning or interventionon the indicated side. This may be because:
•Your vehicle is under the activationspeed.
•The direction indicator is active.
•Your vehicle is in a dynamic maneuver.
