(J18T4018) To Decrease Cruising Speed
Press and hold SET/COAST switch.
Release the switch at the speed you
want.
Your vehicle has a “tap-down” feature
that allows you to decrease your current speed in decrements of 1.6
km/h (1 mph) by a momentary tap of
the SET/COAST switch. Multiple taps
will decrease your vehicle speed 1.6
km/h (1 mph) for each tap. For

vehicle speed will decrease and set at

Operating Tips for CD Player/
In-Dash CD Changer
Condensation phenomenon
Immediately after turning on the
heater when the vehicle is cold, the
CD or optical components (prism and
lens) in the CD player/changer may
become clouded with condensation.
At this time, the CD will eject
immediately when placed in the unit.
A clouded CD can be corrected
simply by wiping it with a soft cloth.
Clouded optical components will clear
naturally in about an hour. Wait for
normal operation to return before
attempting to use the unit.

nonfreezing lubricant on locks during
cold weather.
Make sure the engine hood’ s
secondary latch keeps the hood from
opening when the primary latch is
released.
