ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
•Thissystemallowsyoutolockand
unlockthedoors,andevenstartthe
enginewithouttakingthekeyout.
While Carrying the Advanced Key…
• Unlock the driver’s doorbypushing
thedriver’sdoorrequestswitchonce.
•
Unlock all doorsbypushingthe
driver’sdoorrequestswitchtwice
ORbypushingthepassenger’sdoor
request switch or lif tgate request
switchonce.
• Lock or unlock the liftgate by
pushing thelif tgate request switchonce.
•
Lock all doorsbypushingthedriver’s
door, passenger door, or lif tgate request
switches once.
• Open the front windows and
moon roof bypushingtheunlock
buttonontheadvancedkeyless
entrytransmitterandthenpushing
againandholding;releasetostop.
• Close front windows and moon roof
by pushing and holding the driver’s door
requestswitch;releasetostop.

• Start the enginebypushingthestartknobinandturningit(likea
normalkey)whiledepressingthebrakepedal.

Shut the engine OFF byturning the star t knob to the ACC position
andthenpushinginandturningtotheLockposition.
•TheKEY indicatorlightwillshowgreenwhentheadvancedkeyis
detected.IftheKEY indicatorlightflashesgreen,theadvancedkey
transmitterbatterypowerislow.
•
Iftheadvancedkeycannotbeusedduetoamalfunctionordead
advancedkeybattery,usetheauxiliarykeytolock /unlockthedoors
andtostarttheengine.

To Program the Driver’s Seat Position
1 Parkvehicle.
2 AdjustseattodesiredpositionusingtheSlide/ TiltandReclineswitches.
3 While holding theSET button in,push oneofthe three (3)programming
buttonsuntilabeepisheard.Programmingisnowcomplete.Program
remainingtwobuttonsasdesired.
NOTE: Youcanalsoprogramoneseatpositionforeachadvancedkey/retractable
typekeyusedwiththevehicle.SeeOwner’sManualforprogramminginstructions.
To Move the Seat to a Programmed Position
• With driver’s door OPEN and ignition OFF ,pushandreleaseone
oftheprogrammedbuttons(1,2,or3)whenenteringthevehicle.
OR
• With driver’s door CLOSED and ignition ON ,pushandholdoneof
theprogrammedbuttons(1,2,or3).
NOTE:
MemoryseatfunctionsDONOToperatewhendriver’sdoorisOPENand
ignitionisON,whendriver’sdoorisCLOSEDandignitionisOFF,orwhenthevehicle
isinmotion.

1Raise seatbacks until they lock into position (red indicator is not

The Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system is designed to assist the driver
by monitoring the blind spots to the rear of the vehicle on both sides.
• Ifyour vehicle speed is 20 mph (32 km/h) or more, the BSM will warn
youofvehiclesinthedetectionareabyilluminatingtheBSMwarning
lightslocatedontheleftandrightdoormirrors.
•IfyouoperateaturnsignalinthedirectionofanilluminatedBSM
warninglight,thesystemwillalsowarnyouwithabeepandwarning
lightflash.
•BSMsensorsarelocatedundertheleftandrightrearbumperareas.
TheBSMsystemmaynotoperateproperlyiftherearbumpergetstoo
dirty,sokeeptherearbumperareaclean.
