backrest arenot engaged theycould foldfor-
wards, e.g.when braking suddenly orinthe
event ofan accident.
R The vehicle occupant wouldthereby be

seat/rear seatorby the seat backrest. The
seat beltcannolonger offertheintended
level ofprotection andcould evencause
injuries.
R Objects orloads inthe trunk cannot be
restrained bythe seat backrest.
There isan increased riskofinjury.
Before everytrip,make surethattheseat
backrests andtherear bench seat/rear seat
are engaged.

folding thebackrest inthe rear com-
partment forwards, makesurethattherear
compartment armrestandthecup holder are
folded in.They mayotherwise bedamaged .
