suitable charge r or while ano ther vehicle was pr oviding starting assistance.
The dischar ged 48 V battery is charge d automatically via thevo ltage con verter. ATer a fewminutes, theMotor can be
started again display message will be shown on the inst rument displa y. #
Start theve hicle. #
Drive theve hicle for a while tocharge the 12 V battery and the 48 V battery aTer disconnecting thech arge r from
th eve hicle.
If th eMotor can be started again display message does not appear aTer a fewminutes: #
Tryto start theve hicle. #
Ifth eve hicle does not start, consult a quali/ed specialist workshop.

If yo u open the bonnet in theeve nt of an overheated engine or /re in the engine compartment, thefo llowing situa-
tions may occur:
R You may come into contact with hot gases.
R You may come into contact with other escaping hot operating 0uids. #
Before opening the bonnet, allow the engine tocool down. #
Intheev ent of a /re in the engine compartment, keep the bonnet closed and call the /re service. #
Stop immediately in accordance with the tra1c conditions and switch o. theve hicle. Do not continue driving. #
