The ASSYST PLUS service interval display

time during which the battery is disconnec-
ted. Maintaining the time-dependent service
schedule:

Aq uali fied specialist workshop, e.g. a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre, will rese tthe

the ignition before cleaning the windscree nor
wipe rblade s.
! Do not pull on the wipe
rblade .Otherwise,
the wipe rblade could be damaged.
! Do not clean wipe

do not ru bthem too hard. Otherwise, the
graphite coating could be damaged. This
could cause wipe rnoise.

As soon as the vehicle is loaded: X Prevent the vehicl efrom rolling away by
applying the parking brake.
X Vehicles with manual transmission:
depress the clutch peda lfully and engage
first or reverse gear.
X Vehicles with automatic transmission:
shift the automatic transmissio ntoposi-
tion P.
X Turn the key in the ignition lock to position
0 and remove the key from the ignition
lock.
