cifically approve dfor your vehicle for thei rreli-
ability ,safety and suitability. Despite ongoing
marke tresearch, Mercedes-Benz is unable to
assess other parts. Mercedes-Benz therefore
accepts no responsibility for the use of such
parts in Mercedes-Benz vehicles ,even if they
hav ebeeno fficiall yapprove dori ndependently
approve dbyatesting centre.
In Germany ,certai nparts are officiall yapproved
for installatio normodification only if they com-
ply with legal requirements. Thi salsoa pplies to
some other countries. All genuine Mercedes-
Benz parts meet the approva lrequirements. The
use of non-approved parts may invalidate the
vehicle' sgeneral operating permit.
