Tr af fic Alert function can warndrivers of any
crossing traf fic when reve rsing out of a parking
space. The radar sensors in the bumper also
monitor the area adjacent totheve hicle. If a crit‐
ical situation is de tected, symbol 1appea rsin
th e multimedia sy stem displa y.Ifth e driver does not
react tothewa rning, theve hicle can be
braked automatically.
If th era dar sensors are obstructed byvehicles
or other objects, de tection is not possible.
