partment co ver can be stowed under the load
compartment floor. #
Open the load compartment floor . #
Toinser t:place the load compartment co ver
in brac kets 1, firs t on the left and then the
ri ght. Comply with the instructions on the
ve hicle toensure it is seated cor rectly. #
Toremo ve:push the load compartment
co ver slightly tothe left using grab handle

th e left.

Re quirements:
R The partitioning net has been rolled up.
Re moving #
Press button 1onthe left or right. #
Remo vethe partitioning net cassette bylift‐
ing it upwards.
Installing #
With tab1 facing ba ckwa rds, push the par‐
titioning net cassette into brac kets 2.
The pa rtitioning net cassette will engage. #
Ensure that red lock verification indicators
3 onthe left and right are no longer visible.
Otherwise, the partitioning net cassette will

re stra in heavy objects, items of luggage or
heavy loads.

th ey cannot be thro wn around. #
Secure objects, luggage or loads
against slipping or tipping over,e.g. by
using lashing material, even if you are
using the partitioning net. Fo
r saf etyre asons, alw ays use a partitioning net
when transporting a load.
Damaged partitioning nets can no longer fulfil
th eir pr otective functions and must be replaced.

until the partitioning net is tight. #
After driving a short dis tance, check thete n‐
sion of the partitioning net and re-tension it if
necessa ry. #

lashing stra ps are loose. #

or items of luggage. Objects or items of luggage may be

to n2 repeatedly until the blue (keep cool)
or red (keep warm) indicator lamp on the but‐
to n lights up.
If yo u use the heating function, the me tal
inse rtof the cup holder is heated. Once a
cer tain temp erature has been reached, the
wa rning lamp lights up. Do not reach into the cup holder's me
tal inse rtwhen thewa rning

until the indicator lamp on the button goes
out.

pulling the connecting cable or the 230 V
po we r soc ket out of the trim, or if it is dam‐
aged or wet. #
Use only connecting cables that are dry
and free of damage. #
When the ignition is switched off, make
sure that the 230 V po wer soc ket is dr y. #
Immedia tely ha ve the 230 V po wer
soc ketch ecked or replaced at a quali‐
fi ed specialised workshop if it is dam‐
aged or has been pulled out of the trim. #
Never plug the connecting cable into a
230 V po wer soc ketth at is damaged or
has been pulled out of the trim. &
