exiting a parking space begins and

re sponsible for selecting the turn signal indicator
in accordance with the tra1c conditions. If neces-
sar y,select the turn signal indicator accordingl y.
ATer the parking space has been exited, a warn-
ing tone and theØ Active Parking Assist fin-
ished, take control of vehicle message prompt

accelerate, brake, steer and change gear yourself
again.
If yo u do not react tothe prom pttotake cont rol
of theve hicle, the system will brake theve hicle to
a standstill.

before Active Parking Assist was activated,

Check the area around your vehicle again before

th e manoeuvring range. Also obser vethe system
limitations of Active Parking Assist.

and inter rupt the parking or exiting procedure.
The vehicle will then be held at a standstill. If you
depress the accelerator pedal, the parking or exit-
ing procedure is resumed.
Check the area around your vehicle again before
re suming the parking or exiting procedure. Make

In cer tain accident situations, the actuation of the
active bonn etreduces therisk of injury topedes- trians. The
rear area of the bonnet is raised by
appr oximately 80 mm.
ATer being triggered, the active bonnet remains in
th era ised position. Limited visibility due tothe
ra ised bonnet cannot be ruled out.
ATer the active bonnet has been actuated, pedes-
trian pr otection may be limited.
Ha ve the full functionality of the active bonnet
re stored immediately in a quali/ed specialist
wo rkshop.

Depending on driving st yle, theve hicle con-
sumes up to0.8 litre of oil per 1000 km. The
oil consum ption may be higher than this when
th eve hicle is new or if you frequently drive at
high engine speeds.
% Depending on the engine, the cap may be
installed in the engine compartment in di.er-
