head restra int supports the back of the
head at about eye le vel. Ad
just the head restra int fore -and-aft position so
th at it is as close as possible tothe back of your

Objects trapped under the co-driver seat can
inter fere with the function of the automatic
co-driver airbag shutoff or damage the sys‐

Do not store any objects under the co-

When the indicator lamp lights up, the front
passenger seat is selected. Fo

Push button 2forw ards and hold it in this
position.
The head restra int will mo veforw ards slightly
and stop. #
Release button 2. #
Push button 2forw ards again.
The head restra int will fold forw ards. #
Tofold the head restra int into position:
push button 2bac k.
The head restra int will fold into position.
% You can also fold the front passenger head
re stra int into position from the front
passenger seat. Todo so, press any button
on the door operating unit on the front
passenger side.

Movethe head restra int tothe desired

Toswitch neck heating from the addi‐
tional cushion on/off: make surethat
press- studs 2onthe additional strip are
cor rectly pushed into counterpieces 1on
th e head restra int. #
Ensure that the "Couple neck heat toseat
heating" function is active (/ page122). #
Activate or deacti vate the seat heating
(/ page 124). Fo

tion and folding it back mechanically #
Tofold into position: pullthe head restra int

Fold down the head restra int comple tely.
The centre headrestra int has a usage position
and a non-usage position. The usage position is
th e upright position in which the head restra int
is loc ked; the non-usage position is the position
in which the head restra int is folded down wards.
When the cent reseat is used, the head restra int
must be in the upright, loc ked usage position. Configuring

Setting the seat heating balance #
Select Heating settings. #
Select Seat heating balance. #
Adjust the heat distribution forth e desired
seat.

Seat climate control menu inthere ar.
Coupling neck heat toseat heating #
Select Additional neck warmer. #
Switch the function forth e desired seat on or
off.
If th e function is active, the neck heat of the
additional cushion has been coupled tothe

du ring adjustment of the driver's seat
af te r calling up a driver profile
Selecting a user profile may trigger an
adju stment of the driver's seat tothe posi‐
tion sa ved under the user profile. You or
ot her vehicle occupants could be injured in
th e process. #
Make sure that when the position of
driver's seat is being adjus ted using the
multimedia sy stem, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of mo ve‐
ment.
If th ere is a risk of someone becoming trap‐
ped, stop the adjustment process immedi‐
ately: #

liquid and if it is hot, they could be scalded.
