heating sy stem heats thee ngine coolant topro‐
te ct thee ngine and sa vefuel during thew arming-
up phase. The auxiliar yheatin gheats thea ir
inside thev ehicle tothes ettemp erature. It is not
dependent on theh eat output of ther unning
engine .The auxilia ryheating is operated directly
using thev ehicle's fuel. Forthis reason ,the fuel
ta nk mus thave been filled abo vether eser vefuel
le ve lsot hatthea uxiliar yheating can work.T he
auxilia ryheating automatically adapts its operat‐
ing mode totheo utside temp eratur eand
we ather .Itist herefor epossible that thea uxiliary

mode or from heating toventilation mode. When
