 Do not place any objects around the area where the side airbags deploy. Suchobjects can interfere with proper side air-bag deployment, and
cause injury during
deployment of the side airbag. Do not place stickers, labels or additional trim on the back of either front seat. They can interfere with proper side airbagdeployment. Do not attach a microphone (A) or any other object around the part where the curtain airbag (B) depl
oys, such as on the
windshield, side door glass or front andrear pillars and roof
side rail. When the
curtain airbag inflates
, the microphone or
other object may be
hurled with great
force or the curtain airbag may not inflate correctly, resulting in death or serious injury.WA R N I N G
WA R N I N G Do not put a hanger or any heavy or pointed object on the coat hook. If the cur-tain airbag was activa
ted, any such item

If a front-facing child restraint system must be used in the front passenger seat, move the seat as far back as possible, andmake sure that the child stays in the child restraint system, properly restrained and away from the door.

theft. The purpose of the system is to immo-bilize the vehicle if an invalid start is
attempted. A valid st
art attempt can only be

a key “registered” to the immobilizer system. All of the keys provided with your new vehi- cle have been program
med to the vehicle’s
electronics.

When a person enters the operating range ofthe F.A.S.T.-key while carrying the F.A.S.T.- key and presses the driver’s or front passen- ger’s door lock/unlock switch, the liftgateLOCK switch or the li

The doors and the liftgate can be locked andunlocked and the engine can be started only when the ID codes of the vehicle and F.A.S.T.-key match.

sabling the passcode.
1. Press the SPEECH button (except for vehicles with Mitsubishi Multi-Commu-nication System) or
PICK-UP button (for
vehicles with Mitsubishi Multi-Commu- nication System).2. Say “Setup.” 3. Say “Passcode.” 4. The voice guide will say “Passcode isenabled. Would you like to disable it?” Answer “Yes.” Answer “No” to cancel the disabling ofthe passcode and return to the main menu.

code is disabled” and the system will return to the main menu.

speaker enrollment function to create a voice model for one person per language. This makes it easier for the Bluetooth
® 2.0
interface to recognise
voice commands said
by you. You can turn a voice model registered with the speaker enrollment function on and offwhenever you want.

nutes to complete the
speaker enrollment process. To ensure the best results, run through the process while in the driver’s seat, in an envi-ronment that is as quiet as possible (when there is no rain or strong winds and the vehi- cle windows are closed).

phone while in speaker enrollment to prevent interruption of the process. Use the following procedure for speakerenrollment.
1. Stop your vehicle in a safe area, put the selector lever in the “P” (PARK) positionand pull the parking brake lever. 2. Press the SPEECH button (except for vehicles with Mitsubishi Multi-Commu-nication System) or
PICK-UP button (for
