Uimmityslaite sammutetaan kaantamalla
puhaltimen nopeudensaatbhappula
OFF-asentoon.

IImastoinlilaitetta voidaan kayttaa ainoastaan moottorin kaydessa.
HUOM (1) Viilennyksen aikana joutokierrosluku kasvaa noin 200 rpm.
Olkaa varovainen lahtiessanne liikkeelle.
(2) Moottoria kaynnistettaessa suoritetaan samat toimenpiteet
ja saadbt kuin moottoria sammutettaessa . (3) IIman viilennyksen alkaessa saataa tuulettimista virtaava
ilma olla hetken aikaa sumuntapaista. Tiimii johtu nopeasti
viilenneesta kosteasta ilmasta.

Turn the blower speed control knob to OFF position.

Air conditioner* EH16A-A
. The air conditioner can only be operated while the engine is running.
NOTE
(1) During cooling, the idle rpm will incr ease by approximately 200 rpm. Appropriate care should be taken when starting off from a
stop.
(2) When the engine is started, the operation will be the same as for the settings of the knobs just before the engine was stopped. (3) A mist may be seen coming from the air outlets for a few moments when cooling is started . This is simply the result of humid air being suddenly cooled.

HUOM
Auton sisailma kiertaa. Kayttakaa tata asentoa
pitaaksenne ilman vapaana ulkoilman polysta tai
muusta saasteesta . Vipu tulee kuitenkin jattaa tahan
asentoon vain vahaksi aikaa.
Kiertoilma-asentoa tulee kayttaa vain vahan aikaa erityisesti
kylmalla ilmalla koska
Illuuten ilmassa oleva hoyry tiivistyy ikkunoihin. 200

NOTE
Operating the system as an air
conditioner EH16B-A
1-Adjust to the desired temperature by turning the temperature control knob.
When the engine coolant temperature is low, temperature of air introduced into the passenger compartment does not change even if the temperature control knob is moved to the high temperature side.
2-Set the desired blower speed by turning the blower speed control knob. 3-Set the air selection by sliding the air selection control lever .
~ -(Outside position) Outside air is introduced into the passenger compart­
ment.
~-(Recirculation position)
NOTE The
inside air is recirculated. Select
this position to keep
the inside air free of dust or other contaminants in the outside air. However, the lever should only be left at this position for a short time.
Espec ially
during cold weather, the recirculation position should only be used for a short time in order to prevent the
unnecessary formation of mist on the windows.

Ottakaa huomioon ilmastointilaitetta kayttaessanne HH04J -La
(1) Pysiikbikiiii auto varjoon. Jos pysiikbitte aurinkoiseen paik­
kaan, ajoneuvon sisiitilat tulevat hyvin kuumiksi ja kestiiii
kauan jiiiihdyttiiii ne. Jos on viilttiimiitbntii pysiikbidii au­
rinkoiseen paikkaan, avatkaa ikkunat joksikin aikaa ajaak ­
senne kuuman ilman ulos.
(2) Sulkekaa ikkunat ilmastointilaitteen ollessa piiiillii. Ulkoil­man sisiiiinpiiiisy heikentiiii jiiiihdytyksen tehoa. (3) Mikiili ilmastointilaite vaikuttaa tavallista tehottomalta, syynii saattaa olla jiiiihdytysaineen vuoto. Tarkastuttakaa jiirjestelmii valtuutetussa MITSUBISHI-huoltoliikkeessii ja lisiitkiiii jiiiihdytysainetta jos tarpeellista .
Kayttovihjeita IImastointilaite ei ainoastaan viilennii ilmaa, vaan mybs kuivat ­taa sitii, tehden sen niiin miellyttiiviimmiiksi.
Liiallinen jiiiihdytys on epiiterveellistii . IIman liimpbtilan tulisi
olla ainoastaan viisi tai kuusi astetta alhaisempi kuin ulkoilman (sen verran ettii tunnette olonne hieman viileiiksi).

Notes concerning air conditioner operation EH04J-La
(1) Park the vehicle in the shade. Parking under the hot sun will make the vehicle interior extremely hot, and it will require more time to cool the interior . If it is necessary to park in the sun, open the windows for the first few minutes of air conditioner operation to expel the hot air. (2) Close the windows when the air conditioner is in use. The
entry of outside air through open windows will reduce th e cooling efficiency. (3) If the air conditioner seems less effective than usual, the
probable cause might be a refrigerant leak.
Check the system at an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer and recharge refrigerant if necessary .
Operation hints The air conditioner not only cools the air, but also dehumidifies it, thus offering greater comfort. Too much cooling is not good for the health . The air tempera ­
ture should only be 5 to 6 'C (9 to 11 'F) lower than the outside
air (to the extent that you feel somewhat cool).

in operation , the indicator lamp (A) comes on .

by turning the blower speed control knob. There are three blower speeds for control of the amount of air flow. 3-Adjust to the desired temperature by turning the temperature control lever.
When not in use, place the lever in
the COOL position
When the engine
coolant temperature is low, moving the lever to the high temperature side does not change the air
temperature.

tila (sammuksissa), tiissii jiirjestyksessii .
Merkkivalon (A) palaessa liimmityslaite
on piiiillii. Jos merkkivalo (8) palaa , on ilmanjiiiihdytin paalla.

Type 1
Pressing the switch turns on the rear air conditioner. While the rear air condi­tioner is in operation , indicator lamp (A)
comes on.
Type 2

Every time the switch is pressed , switch­ing to HEATER, COOLER and OFF is
made in that order. When indicator lamp (A) is on, the heater is in operation. If indicator lamp (8) is on, the cooler is in
operation.

Set the transfer shift lever to the "N" (neutral) position.
Loosen the
lock screw securing the winch shift lever, and move the lock plate to the left.
Depress the accelerator pedal
or pull out the idle control knob to adjust the winch winding speed.
