Korkeuden loytaminen Saapumispaikan korkeus (korkeus me

NOTE
Altimeter* EDllB-C
Shows the vehicle's current altitude. The outer circumferential scale of the altim
eter indicates the atmospheric pressure
( in millibars) .
To find the difference in altitude To find the difference in altitude between the point of departure and the point of arrival. before departure , rotat e
the control knob so that the pointer reads 0 on the scale . At arrival. the
altimeter will indicate the difference in altitude from the point of departure.
To find the altitude To find the altitude (the height above
the sea level) of the arrival point. bring the vehicle to a point with a known altitude and adjust the pointer to the altitude at that point. Then the altimeter will indicate the altitude of the arrival
point.
This altimeter operates by
noting changes in atmospheric pressure. Because it is highly sensitive to varying atmospheric pressure even when the vehicle remains at the same point. the
altimeter might give different readings. It should not be taken to mean that the altimeter is out of order.

(5) Speed The higher the vehicle speed, the more fuel consumed. Avoid driving at full speed. Even a slight release of the
accelerator pedal will save a significant amount of fuel. (6) Tyre inflation pressure Check the tyre inflation pressure at regular intervals . Low tyre inflation pressures increase road resistance and fuel consumption. I n addition, low tyre pressures adversely
affect tyre wear and driving control. (7) Load Do not drive with unnecessary articles in the luggage compartment. Especially during city driving where frequent starting and stopping is necessary , the increased weight of the vehicle will greatly affect fuel consumption. Also avoid driving with unnecessary luggage, etc., on the roof; the
increased air resistance will cause more fuel consumption. (8) Cold engine starting Starting of a cold engine consumes more fuel. Unnecessary
fuel consumption is also caused by keeping a hot engine running. After the engine is started , begin driving soon.
Trailer towing FC21AOOa
In order to tow a trailer with your vehicle , have a trailer towing device that meets all pertinent regulations in your area mounted at an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer .
The regulations concerning the towing of a trailer may differ from country to country. It is recommended that you obey the
regulations in your area.
If you are going to tow a trailer , pay careful attention to the following points.

Maximun trailer weight with
brake
For the maximum trailer weight refer to the plate attached to R.H side of the
e ngine com'partment (R.H drive vehicles) L.H. side of the engine compartment (L,H. drive vehicles) .
The maximum trailer weight can be cal
culated form the following formula .
Maximum trailer weight= GCW -GVW GCW: Gross combination weight
GVW: Gross vehicle weight
4-Allowable front axle weight 5-Allowable rear axle weight
If you tow a trailer at an altitude of more than 1,000 m (3,280 ft,) above sea-level, reduce the maximum trailer weight by 10% of the gross combination weight for every increase of 1,000 m (3,280 ft.) above sea-level, because the engine output is lowered owing to decrease in atmospheric pressure.
The trailer towing parts are safety parts. Be sure to use only
those parts which have been developed exclusively for this
vehicle .

HUOM (1) Valttakaa akkinaisia kaasutuksia, jarrutuksia ja kaan

Driving on sandy or muddy roads
Set the transfer shift lever to "4LLc" (Super select 4WO) or "4L" (Part time 4WO), and then gradually depress the acceler
ator pedal
for a smooth start. Keep the pressure on the
accelerator pedal as constant as possible, and drive at low speed.
NOTE (1) Avoid sudden braking, acceleration , and turning; such operations could resu lt in the vehic le becoming stuck. (2) If it is necessary to drive in extremely muddy conditions, the use of tyre chains is recomme nded. (3) If the vehicle becomes stuck, place stones , tree branches ,
etc. under the tyres to provide traction, or rock the vehicle back and forth to get it loose . (4) Because the extent of muddy conditions is difficult to judge and the vehicle could become bogged down very
deeply, operation should be at a low speed . If possible , get out of the vehicle and check the conditions ahead before
proceeding .
& CAUTION Driving over roads in coastal areas or roads on which anti-skid preparations have been spread can cause rust on the vehicle; wash the vehicle thoroughly as soon as
possible after such use.

Spare wheel EN23A·B
Check the air pressure of the spare tyre
frequently and make sure it is ready for emergency use at any time. Maintaining the spare wheel at the high
est spe cified air pressure will ensure that it can always be used under any conditions (city/high-speed driving, varying
load weight. etc .) .
The spare wheel is stored on the outside of the back door.
To prevent theft. one of the spare wheel nuts is a lock nut (1).
To remove the lock nut. insert the ignition key into the lock cylinder, pulling
the nut cover with the key still in it toward you and off.
Then loosen the spare
wheel nuts with the wheel nut wrench.
NOTE Insert the bar (2) into the wheel nut wrench (3) to loose the wheel nuts. And then remove the spare wheel.

Jaahdytysneste HM36A·B
Moottoritilassa on lapikuultava
jaahdytysnestesailib. Nestepinnan tulisi
olla sailibn
"LOW"-ja "FULL"-viivojen valissa , kun moottori on lammennyt ja
kay tyhjakayntia.
Jaahdytin on suljettu jarjestelma , joten
nestehukan pitaisi olla hyvin pieni. Huo
mattava vaheneminen saattaa merkita
vuotoa. Jos neste vahenee tavallista nopeammin, kaanny valtuutetun MITSUBISHI-huoltoliikkeen puoleen
tarkastusta varten.
moottori on viela kuuma. Jaahdytysjarjestelmassa on
painetta ja saatat polttaa itsesi 'ulos suihkuava"a
jaahdytysnesteella.
Engine coolant EM36A ·A
A translucent coolant reserve tank is
located in the engine compartment. The coolant level in this tank should be kept
between the "LOW" and "FULL" marks when measured while the engine is
warm and idling.
The cooling system is a closed system
and normally the loss of coolant should be very slight. A noticeable drop in the coolant level could indicate leakage. If this occurs , have the system checked at an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer as soon as possible.
If the level should drop below the "LOW" level on the reserve tank, open the lid and add coolant.
Also , if the reserve tank is completely empty, remove the radiator cap and add coolant until the level reaches the filler
neck.
& CAUTION Do not open the reserve tank lid or radiator cap while the engine is hot. The coolant system is under pressure
and any hot coolant escaping could cause severe burns.
