POWER SEAT/FOR ROADSTER

Check BCM Power Supply and Ground NIS0009X
1. CHECK FUSE
Check 40A fusible link (letter F located in the fuse and fusible link box).
Check 10A fuse [No.18, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
NOTE:
Refer to SE-15, "
Component Parts and Harness Connector Location" .
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to PG-
4, "POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT" .
A passenger seat does not carry out a reclining
operation (Neither manual operation nor an auto-
matic operation can be performed).Check passenger side seat reclining motor circuit SE-46
The automatic operation of a passenger seat can
not be performed (a manual operation can be per-
formed).1. Check passenger side seat reclining sensor circuit SE-472. Check seatback tilt cancel switch circuit SE-52
3. If the above systems are normal, replace passenger seat
control unit.SE-15
A passenger seat operates automatically when the
vehicle is running.Check vehicle speed signal SE-57
Passenger seatback does not return during a soft
top CLOSE operation.Check soft top lock switch circuit SE-55
Passenger seatback does not tilt forward and
return during a soft top OPEN operation.Check storage lid close signal circuit SE-55
Passenger seatback does not tilt forward during a
soft top CLOSE operation or OPEN operation.1. Check power window down request signal circuit SE-542. Check soft top switch circuit SE-53
3. If the above systems are normal, replace passenger seat
control unit.SE-15
Seat does not tilt when passenger seatback tilt
switch is pushed (other functions operate nor-
mally).1. Check seatback tilt switch circuit SE-512. Check seat belt buckle switch circuit SE-56
3.If the above systems are normal, replace passenger seat

A part of passenger seat system does not operate
(only manual).1. Check passenger side seat sliding switch circuit SE-48
2. Check passenger side seat reclining switch circuit SE-49
Passenger seatback dose not go back to the origi-
nal position during a soft top CLOSE or OPEN
operation.Check passenger seat control unit ignition signal circuit SE-44
The manual operation of a passenger seat cannot
be performed (a automatic operation can be per-
