If the home location is not stored yet, the system
will automatically display a screen for storing it.

tem sets the destination to the selected lo-
cation and starts calculating a route.

● Sort by Number:
The Address Book entries are displayed in as-
cending numerical order.
● Sort by Name:
The Address Book entries are displayed in al-
phabetic order.
● Sort by Icon:
By selecting a particular icon, a list that con-
tains only the Address Book entries associ-
ated with that icon is displayed.
● Sort by Group:
By selecting a particular group (family, friends,
leisure, etc.) , the selected group is displayed
at the top of the list. 4. The entire route is shown on the map. Se-
lect “Start” after confirming the location of
the displayed destination. The system sets
the destination to the selected location and
starts calculating a route.

Even after setting a destination, the location of
the destination can be adjusted, the route can be
stored, etc.

SETTING A PREVIOUS DESTINA-
TION
A previously set destination can be set again as
the destination to which the system calculates a
route. Up to 300 previous destinations will be
automatically stored.
If the number of previous destinations exceeds
300, the oldest one will be replaced by the new

INFO:
● If “Call” is displayed on the right side of the
screen, it is possible to call the location
indicated.
● The Bluetooth system is required to be active
and paired to the call location indicated.
● Information about locations is not displayed
while driving. After setting the route, select “Start” to begin
route guidance.
Throughout route guidance, the system navi-
gates through the guide points using visual and
voice guidance.
CAUTION
●
The navigation system’s visual and
voice guidance is for reference pur-
poses only. The contents of the guid-
ance may be inappropriate depend-
ing on the situation.
● When driving along the suggested
route, follow all traffic regulations
(e.g., one-way traffic) .

GUIDANCE
When approaching a guide point (intersection or
corner) , destination, etc. during route guidance,
voice guidance announces the remaining dis-
tance and/or turning direction.

GUIDANCE SETTINGS
Various guidance settings can be set.
Basic operation
1. Press SETTING.
2. Select “Navigation”.
3. Select “Guidance Settings”.4. Select the preferred item.
Available setting items
●
“Guidance Voice”:
Activates or deactivates voice guidance. The
indicator illuminates if voice guidance is
activated.
● “Guidance Volume”:
Adjust the volume level of voice guidance.
● “Traffic Announcement”:
Provides the announcement of the traffic in-
formation event on the route.

Sets how many times the voice guidance is
announced before the vehicle reaches an
intersection.
1. Select “Voice Announcements”.
2. Select the preferred item. – “Full”:The system announces three kinds of
voice guidance: “Turning Point”, “1
Guide” and “2 Guide”. – “Concise”:
The system announces two kinds of
voice guidance: “Turning Point” and “1
Guide”.
– “Turning Point”: Turns on the sound that chimes when a
maneuver is supposed to be occurring.

ON MAP
The guidance screen displayed when the vehicle
passes through an intersection can be changed. 1. Press SETTING.
2. Select “Navigation”.
3. Select “Guidance Settings”.
4. Select “Guidance Display Settings”.

5. Select “Small Turn Arrow on Map to activateor deactivate Small Turn Arrow on the Map
(simplified turn indicator) displayed in the
upper left corner of the map screen. The in-
dicator illuminates if the Small Turn Arrow
on the Map is displayed.
SWITCHING ESTIMATED ARRIVAL
TIME DISPLAY
The display of the travel time on the map screen
can be switched between the travel time to the
destination and the travel time to the waypoint. Example: Switching the display to the travel time
to the waypoint
1. Press SETTING.
2. Select “Navigation”.
3. Select “Guidance Settings”.
4. Select “Estimated Time”. 5. Select “Waypoint”. The indicator for the se-
lected condition illuminates.
6. Press MAP to return to the current location map screen.

7. The icon displayed on the map screen isswitched, and the travel time to the way-
point is displayed.

SET AVERAGE SPEEDS
The required time to the destination can be cal-
culated based on the set vehicle speeds.
Basic operation
1. Press SETTING.
2. Select “Navigation”.
3. Select “Guidance Settings”.
4. Select “Others”.
5. Select “Set Average Speeds”.
6. Select the preferred item.
7. Use the on-screen keys to make an adjustment. The speed can be
increased/decreased by 5 MPH (5 km/h) .
8. After finishing the setting, press ENTER or BACK to activate the setting.
9. Press BACK to return to the previous screen. Press MAP to return to the current
location map screen. Available setting items:
●
“Auto”:
If set to ON, the system automatically calcu-
lates the required time to the destination, the
indicator illuminates and the speed settings
cannot be changed.
● “Freeway”:
Adjust the average vehicle speed on a free-
way by touching [+] or [].
● “Main Road”:
Adjust the average vehicle speed on a main
road by touching [+] or [].
● “Town Road”:
Adjust the average vehicle speed on a town
road by touching [+] or [].

Often visited locations can be stored in the Ad-
dress Book. The stored addresses can be easily
retrieved to set them as a destination or
waypoint.
INFO:
● The Address Book can store up to 300
locations.
● New information placed in the same storage
position will overwrite the old data.
STORING A LOCATION BY
SEARCHING
After a location is searched for once, it can be
stored for future use.
1. Press SETTING. 2. Select “Navigation”. 3. Select “Address Book”.
