the engine oil, oil filter, tire and other reminders.
To set a maintenance interval, select a preferred
item from the list.
You can also set to display a message to remind
you that the maintenance needs to be per-
formed.
The following example shows how to set the
engine oil maintenance information. Use the
same steps to set the other maintenance
information.

1. Set the interval (mileage) of the maintenanceschedule. To determine the recommended
maintenance interval, refer to your ªNISSAN
Service and Maintenance Guideº.
2. To display the reminder automatically when the desired distance is reached, select the
ªReminderº key.
3. Reset the driving distance to the new
maintenance schedule.
4. To return to the previous screen, push the BACK button.
The unit can be converted between ªUSº and
ªMetricº. (See ªHow to use SETTING buttonº
(P.4-15) .)

Example
The Reminder will be automatically displayed
when the specified distance has been driven
and every time the ignition switch is placed in
the ACC or ON position. The reminder will not
appear while driving.
Select the ªOKº key to hide the reminder for the
rest of the current drive.
To stop the reminder from appearing, perform
one of the following actions:
. Select the ªReset Distanceº.
. Deactivate the ªReminderº.
. Increase the ªIntervalº distance to be more
than the current distance being tracked.

.When strong light is directly coming on the
camera, objects may not be displayed
clearly.
. Vertical lines may be seen in objects on the
screen. This is due to strong reflected light
from the bumper.
. The screen may flicker under fluorescent
light.
. The colors of objects on the RearView
Monitor may differ somewhat from the actual
color of objects.
. Objects on the monitor may not be clear in a
dark environment.
. If dirt, rain or snow accumulates on the
camera, the RearView Monitor may not
display objects clearly. Clean the camera.
. Do not use wax on the camera window.
Wipe off any wax with a clean cloth
dampened with mild detergent diluted with
water.

Rear control buttons:GUID-D73A39BF-43C8-459F-9C24-47B7F579C407The rear seat passengers can adjust the rear
automatic air conditioning system using the
control switches located on the ceiling above
the rear seats (models with NISSAN mobile
entertainment system) or on the upper left side
of the second row seat (models without
NISSAN mobile entertainment system) .
The rear control buttons do not function when
ª
º is shown on the front display. To activate
the rear control buttons, push the ªREARº
button on the front air conditioner control panel
and cancel the rear air conditioner control mode
(ª
º will disappear from the front display) .
ªOFFº button: Turns off the rear air conditioning
system.
ª
º Fan speed control buttons: Adjust rear
fan speed
ªAUTOº button: Turns on/off the automatic
operation mode when rear air conditioning
system is on
ªMODEº button: Changes the rear air flow
ªTEMPº buttons: Adjust the rear temperature

WARNING
The air conditioner contains refrigerant
under high pressure. To avoid personal
injury, any air conditioner service
should be done only by an experienced
technician with the proper equipment.
The air conditioner system in your vehicle is
charged with a refrigerant designed with the
environment in mind.
This refrigerant will not harm the earth's
ozone layer. However, it may contribute in a
small part to global warming.
Special charging equipment and lubricant are
required when servicing your vehicle's air con-
ditioner. Using improper refrigerants or lubri-
cants will cause severe damage to the air
conditioner system. (See ªAir conditioning sys-
tem refrigerant and lubricant recommendationsº
(P.9-6) .)
A NISSAN dealer will be able to service your
environmentally friendly air conditioner system.
IN-CABIN MICROFILTERGUID-FBD6ED65-584A-4CB3-A672-1784D5C222E1The climate control system is equipped with an
in-cabin microfilter which collects dirt, pollen,
dust, etc. To make sure the air conditioner heats,
defogs, and ventilates efficiently, replace the
filter in accordance with the maintenance
schedule in the NISSAN Service and Mainte-
nance Guide. If replacement is required, it is
recommended you visit a NISSAN dealer for this
service. A natural grape seed polyphenol filter (if
so equipped) collects and neutralizes dirt,
pollen, dust, etc.
The filter should be replaced if air flow is
extremely decreased or when windows fog
up easily when operating heater or air
conditioning system.

ªFULLº or ªNORMALº using the joystick on the
remote controller.
Picture Mode:

select the ªBrightnessº key and then select from
ªDARKERº, ªNORMALº or ªBRIGHTERº. When
adjusting manually, select ªOFFº and adjust
using the joystick on the remote controller and
tilt the joystick to the right or left.
To adjust tint, color, contrast or black level,
select a key using the joystick on the remote controller and tilt the joystick to the right or left.
Push the BACK button on the remote controller
to apply the settings and return to the previous
display.
To return the adjustment levels to the default
value, select ªExecuteº next to ªInitializationº
using the joystick on the remote controller and
push the ENTER
button. The ªExecuteº key
is deactivated when the picture mode settings
are already in the default value.
Color System:

ªNTSCº, ªPALº, ªPAL-60º, ªPAL-Mº, ªPAL-Nº or
ªAUTOº using the joystick on the remote

controller. When turned on, small characters
and an outline of the shapes will be displayed
more clearly than when turned off.
