HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONER (automatic) (if so equipped)
1 DEFROSTING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS
Press the front defroster FRONT button. If it is difficult to defrost
the windows, press the A/C button 6. This feature removes humidity
from the air.
Turn the temperature control dial lef t or right to set the desired temperature.
To set the front defroster on high, press the fan speed button 5 all
the way up and turn the driver’s side temperature control dial 3 all the way
to the right.
2 DEFROSTING REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRRORS (if so equipped)
Push the r ear window defroster switch. Push the switch again to manually
turn the rear defroster off. This function automatically turns off af ter
approximately 15 minutes.
3 ON•OFF BUTTON/DRIVER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the climate controls on or off. Turn the
temperature control dial to the lef t for cooler air or the right for warmer air.
4 MODE BUT TON
Press the MODE button to cycle through the following air flow outlets:
Air flows from the center and side vents.
Air flows from the center, side and foot vents.
Air flows mainly from the foot vents.
Air flows from the front defroster and foot vents.
5 FAN SPEED CONTROL BUTTONS
Press the fan speed control button for low fan speeds or for high
fan speeds.
6 A/C ON•OFF BUTTON
Press the A/C button to turn the air conditioner system on or off.
This system helps cool and dehumidify the air inside the cabin and defog
the windows.
7 DUAL BUTTON/PASSENGER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Press the DUAL button to turn the passenger’s side temperature controls
on or off. This will allow the passenger’s side temperature to be adjusted
independently from the driver’s side by turning the passenger’s side
temperature control dial.
Turn the passenger’s side temperature control dial lef t for cooler air or right for warmer air.
8 AIR RECIRCULATION BUTTON
The air recirculation button is used to avoid outside odors.

Press the air recirculation button once to turn on and press again to
turn off.
The air recirculation mode cannot be activated when the climate control system is in the front defroster mode FRONT or the front defroster and
foot vent mode .
9 AUTO BUTTON
Press the AUTO button to turn the system on, and the system will
automatically control the inside temperature (automatic cooling and/or
dehumidified heating), air flow distribution and fan speed.
10 FRESH AIR INTAKE BUTTON
Press the fresh air intake button to draw outside air into the passenger
compartment. The fresh air intake indicator light on the button will illuminate.

FM/AM/SiriusXM® SATELLITE RADIO WITH CD PLAYER
(if so equipped)
1 POWER BUTTON/VOLUME CONTROL KNOB
Press the POWER button to turn the system on or off.
Turn the VOLUME control knob to the right or lef t to increase or decrease
the volume.
2 ENTER|AUDIO BUTTON/TUNE•SCROLL KNOB
Press the ENTER|AUDIO button to go to the audio settings screen.
To manually tune the radio, turn the TUNE•SCROLL knob lef t or right.
3 SEEK BUT TONS
To tune and stop at the previous or next broadcast station, press the seek buttons or .
For satellite radio to switch to the first channel of the previous or next category, press the seek buttons or .
To change tracks on a CD, press the seek buttons or .

POWER PANORAMIC MOONROOF (if so equipped)
To fully open or close the moonroof, push the switch to the OPEN position 1 or
the CLOSE position 2 and release it. The roof will automatically open or close.
To stop the moonroof, push the switch once more while it is opening or closing.
To tilt the moonroof open, press the tilt button 3. To close the moonroof, push the
switch to the CLOSE position 2.
AUTO-REVERSE
When the auto-reverse function is activated, the
moonroof will automatically open or tilt up when
the control unit detects something caught in the
moonroof when the moonroof is closing or tilting down.

4 STATION SELECT KEYS
Twelve stations can be set for the FM band, six for the AM band and 18 for
satellite radio.
To store a station in a preset, you must first select a radio band by pressing the FM•AM button 5 or SXM button 6 then tune to the desired FM, AM or
satellite radio station.
Next touch and hold the desired station select key (1-6) until a beep is heard
and the sound is briefly muted. The channel indicator will appear on the
display and the sound will resume. Programing is now complete.
To retrieve a previously set station, select the radio band where the preset was stored then touch the corresponding station select key (1-6).

CRUISE CONTROL (if so equipped)
The cruise control system enables you to set a constant cruising speed once the vehicle
has reached 25 mph (40 km/h). The system
will automatically maintain the set speed until
you tap the brake pedal, accelerate, cancel or
turn the system off.
To activate the cruise control, push the ON/OFF switch 1 on the steering wheel. The
CRUISE indicator light in the instrument panel
will illuminate.
To set a cruising speed, accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed, push the SET – switch 2 on the steering wheel and release. A green circle indicator light
in the instrument panel will illuminate, and the set speed will display next to the
indicator light. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Your vehicle will maintain
the set speed.
To reset at a faster cruising speed, push and hold the RES + switch 3 on the
steering wheel. When the vehicle attains the desired speed, release the switch.
To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the SET – switch2 on the
steering wheel. Release the switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.
To cancel the preset speed, tap the brake pedal or push the CANCEL switch 4
on the steering wheel.
To turn off cruise control, push the ON/OFF switch 1 on the steering wheel.
Both the CRUISE indicator light and green circle indicator light in the instrument
panel will extinguish.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) CONNECTION PORT/AUX JACK AND
iPOD® INTERFACE
The USB por t/Aux jack 1 is located beneath
the climate controls and are illuminated for
better visiblity when the headlight switch is in
the ON position.
When a c ompatible USB memory device, iPod® or auxiliary device is plugged into the
USB port/Aux jack, compatible audio files stored on the device can be played
through the vehicle’s audio system.

INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL (ICC) (if so equipped)
VEHICLE-TO-VEHICLE DISTANCE CONTROL MODE
To set Vehicle-To-Vehicle Distance Control
mode, press the CRUISE ON/OFF button 1
on the steering wheel. The CRUISE indicator
light
2 will illuminate.
Accelerate to the desired speed.
Push down on the SET/- switch 3 on the
steering wheel and release it. ICC will be set to
the desired speed.
Press the distance button 4 on the steering
wheel repeatedly to change the set distance
between long, middle and short.
When a v ehicle is not detected ahead of you in the lane,
the set distance and set vehicle speed indicator lights will
illuminate
5 in set mode.
When a vehicle is detected ahead of you in the lane, the
vehicle ahead detection, set distance and set vehicle speed
indicator lights will illuminate
6 in set mode.
To reset at a faster cruising speed, push and hold the RES/+
switch
7 on the steering wheel. When the vehicle attains
the desired speed, release the switch.
To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the SET/- switch 3 on the
steering wheel. Release the switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.
To cancel the preset speed, push the CANCEL switch 8 on the steering wheel
or tap the brake pedal. The set vehicle speed indicator 5 will extinguish.
To turn off ICC, press the CRUISE ON/OFF button 1 on the steering wheel. The
CRUISE indicator light 2 in the instrument panel will extinguish.

USING THE VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY

up or down to navigate through the vehicle information display menu.

START-UP DISPLAY
When the ignition switch is in the ON position, the vehicle information display will
support four of the following modes:
Active system status (if so equipped)
Fuel economy
Trip computer
Warnings (if there are any)
Tire pressure information
RESETTING THE TRIP COMPUTER
1. Press the button 3 on the steering wheel until you reach the trip
computer mode.
2. Press the OK button 2.
3. Select one of the following items:
“Cancel” - returns to the previous screen without resetting the trip computer.
“Distance”- resets the current trip computer distance and time of the selected trip computer.
“All” - resets all linked values for the selected drive computer. This includes distance and time, average fuel economy and average speed information for the
selected drive computer.

NISSANCONNECTSM MOBILE APPS (if so equipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped with NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps, allowing you
to control various compatible smartphone applications through the vehicle’s
display screen. A basic package is included for a period of time from the original
in-service date of the vehicle.
To enroll in NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps:
1. Create a Nissan Owner Portal account at owners.nissanusa.com.
· Make sure to include your vehicle’s VIN when creating your account.
2. Under the NissanConnect Mobile Apps tab, select the red button next to
Manage Subscription to enroll.
3. Next, download the NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps companion app from
Google Play or the Apple App Store. Log into the companion app using your
Nissan Owner Portal ID and password.
4. Launch the app , select “United States”, and accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. Select “Sign In”, then sign in with the email username and password you created when registering on the Nissan Owner Portal website.
Pair your cellular phone to the vehicle.
· For Android® devices, the smartphone must be connected through the
Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system.
· For iPhone® on vehicles WITH Navigation, the device must be connected to the
vehicle’s USB port using your cellular phone’s USB cable.
· For iPhone® on vehicles WITHOUT Navigation, connect the device using the
Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system.
You can select which apps you want activated in the vehicle from the
NissanConnectSM Mobile Apps companion app by selecting “Manage My Apps”.
Some apps shown in the companion app may not appear in your vehicle
depending on availability for your model.
Some applications require you to have the app downloaded and installed
on your cellular phone, while others require you to enter your username and
password to log in. Not all apps shown on the NissanConnect app site are
available on all models.

HANDS-FREE TEXT MESSAGING ASSISTANT* (if so equipped)
This system allows for sending and receiving
text messages through the vehicle’s interface.
Using predefined or custom messages, send
a text to an entry stored in your Bluetooth®
Hands-free Phone System.
Once enabled, the text message, sender and delivery time are shown on the control panel
display when the vehicle speed is less than
5 mph (8 km/h).
Text messages have the option of being read aloud at all vehicle speeds.
Many cellular phones may require special permission to enable text messaging. Check the cellular phone’s screen during Bluetooth® pairing.
For some cellular phones, you may need to enable “Notifications” in
the cellular phone’s Bluetooth
® menu for text messages to appear
on the touch-screen display. For more detailed information and
instructions, refer to your cellular phone’s Owner’s Manual.
Your available apps will only appear on the screen when your smartphone
is connected to both the vehicle and the Internet. For additional information
on connecting your device, see your Owner’s Manual or visit

BLUETOOTH® HANDS-FREE PHONE SYSTEM*
A cellular telephone should not be used
while driving so full attention may be given to
vehicle operation.
SYSTEM OPERATING TIPS
Press the button on the steering wheel to
interrupt the voice prompts at any time and
speak a command af ter the tone.
To use the system faster, you may speak the second level commands with the main menu
command on the main menu. For example,
press the
button on the steering wheel, and af ter the tone, say “Call Michael Smith”.
The “Help” c ommand can be used to hear a list of available commands at any time.
Reduce background noise as much as possible by closing windows and pointing
HVAC vents away from the ceiling.
Speak naturally without long pauses and without raising your voice.
To cancel a Nissan Voice Recognition session, say “Quit” or press and hold the button on the steering wheel.
To decrease or increase the volume of the voice prompts, push the volume control switches
or on the steering wheel or turn the VOLUME control knob
on the audio system while the system is responding.
Voice commands can be used to operate various Bluetooth® system features
using the Nissan Voice Recognition system. See your Owner’s Manual for
detailed information.

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEM WITHOUT NAVIGATION* (if so equipped)
PAIRING PROCEDURE
1. Press the button on the steering wheel. The system announces the
available commands.
2. Say: “Add Phone”. The system acknowledges the command and asks you to initiate connecting from the cellular phone handset.
• A cellular phone can also be added at any time by selecting
“Settings” > “Bluetooth” > “Add Phone”.
3. Initiate pairing fr om the cellular phone.
• The connecting procedure varies according to each cellular phone model.
For detailed connecting instructions and a list of compatible cellular phones,
please visit www.NissanUSA.com/bluetooth.
• When pr ompted, compare the PIN on the display with the PIN shown on the handset. If your device does not support Secure Simple Pairing and requests
you to input a PIN, enter “1234” from the handset.
PHONEBOOK REGISTRATION
When the c ellular phone is connected to the in-vehicle module, the data stored in the cellular phone, such as phonebook, outgoing call logs, incoming call logs
and missed call logs, is automatically transferred and registered to the system.
The availability of this function depends on each cellular phone. The copying procedure also varies according to each cellular phone. See your cellular phone’s
Owner’s Manual for more information.
Up to 1,000 entries per registered cellular phone can be stored in the phonebook.
MAKING A CALL
1. Press the button on the steering wheel. A tone will sound.
2. Say: “Call”. The system acknowledges the command and announces the next set of available commands.
3. Say the registered person’s name. The system acknowledges the command and announces the next set of available commands.
4. Say: “ Yes”. The system acknowledges the command and makes the call.
RECEIVING/ENDING A CALL
To accept the call, press the button on the steering wheel.
To reject the call, press the button on the steering wheel.
To hang up, press the button on the steering wheel.
