OUTLINE
When unlocking doors by Intelligent Key or door request switch (driver side), the memory function is per-
formed first, the exit assist function is performed next and the entry assist function is performed last.
OPERATION PROCEDURE
1. Unlock doors by using Intelligent Key or door request switch (driver side).
2. The system performs exit assist operation and memory operation.
NOTE:
Further information for Intelligent Key interlock function. Refer to ADP-8, "
MEMORY STORING : Description".
OPERATION CONDITION
Satisfy all of the following items. The Intelligent Key interlock function is not performed if any of these items
are not satisfied.

moves backward, the value increases. If it moves forward,
the value decreases

Memory switch and set switch are equipped on the seat memory switch installed to the driver side door trim.
The operation signal is inputted to the driver seat control unit when the memory switch and set switch is oper-
ated.

1.CHECK FUNCTION
1. Select “MEMORY SW 1”, “MEMORY SW 2”, “SET SW” in “Data monitor” mode with CONSULT-III.
2. Check seat memory switch signal under the following conditions.
Is the indication normal?
YES >> Seat memory switch function is OK.
NO >> Refer to ADP-54, "
DiagnosisProcedure".

1.CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH OPERATION
Check seat memory switch operation.
Which is the malfunctioning switch?
All switches are NG>>GO TO 4.
Some switches are NG>>GO TO 2.
2.CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect seat memory switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> GO TO 3.
3.CHECK MEMORY SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness
connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to ADP-136, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH
Refer to ADP-55, "
Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5.
NO >> Replace seat memory switch. Refer to ADP-137, "
Removal and Installation".
5.CHECK MEMORY SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 6.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
6.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to GI-35, "
Intermittent Incident".
