depress the brake pedal.

Move the shift lever to P (PAR k).

Turn the ignition switch to start.

MA nuAL TRA nSM iSS iO n (if so equipped)

depress the brake pedal.

Move the shift lever to n (neutral).

depress the clutch pedal to the floor.

Turn the ignition switch to start.

f or an automatic transmission, move the shift lever to the P (PAR k) position, apply the parking
brake and turn the ignition switch to the loCK position.

f or a manual transmission, apply the foot brake, place the vehicle in first gear, apply the parking
brake and turn the ignition switch to the loCK position.

Turn the vol/PWr control knob to the right or left to increase or decrease the volume.

To release, firmly press the foot brake while slightly
pulling up on the parking brake lever. Press the
button

02 and lower the lever completely.
