Recommendations for approved lubricants The oils which appear in the table opposite are suitable for most pur-poses. The diagram opposite states the optimum range of viscosity depen-ding on the temperatures at whichthe oils are to be used. It is also possible to use synthetic oils of Ôsuperior qualityÕ. In the absence of semi-synthetic or
synthetic oils, oils of API SH/SJquality (for petrol engines), orCD/CF quality (for diesel engines)may be used by following the
ÔArduous ConditionsÕ maintenanceschedule which specifies shorterintervals. Do not hesitate to ask for advice from a Peugeot dealer to maintaindriving pleasure and to minimisethe maintenance cost of yourvehicle. For countries outside Europe, plea- se contact a local PEUGEOT
dealer.

It is essential to stop. Indicates either:
- insufÞcient engine oil pressure, or
-
lack of oil in the lubrication system.
Top up the oil level if necessary.

It is essential to stop. Indicates too high a temperature, caused by: -
a fan malfunction. Check the fuses
and replace them if necessary,
