Service indicator

next service is due. This service is to
be carried out according to the manu-
facturer’s servicing schedule.5 seconds after the ignition is

corder resumes normal operation and
t h e d i s p l a y s h o w s t h e t o t a l o r t r i p d i s -
tances.
The distance remaining before
the next service is less than
500 miles (1.000 km).
Example: 400 miles (900 km) remain
before the next service is due.

- t o t a l d i s t a n c e r e c o r d e r , i t r e m a i n s displayed for 30 seconds after
t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o f f .
It also displays the speed limiter/
c r u i s e c o n t r o l i n f o r m a t i o n , w h e n o n e
of these systems is active (see cor-
responding section).
Operation
A s s o o n a s t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d
o n a n d f o r 5 s e c o n d s , t h e s p a n n e r
symbolising service operations is lit.
T h e t r i p r e c o r d e r d i s p l a y s h o w s t h e
d i s t a n c e r e m a i n i n g ( i n r o u n d i g u r e s )
before the next service.
Example: 400 miles (900 km) re-
main before the next service is due.

f o r 5 s e c o n d s , t h e d i s p l a y s h o w s : The service is overdue.

Resetting the service indicator
Your PEUGEOT dealer carries out
this operation after each service.
T h e r e s e t p r o c e d u r e i s a s f o l l o w s :
- S w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n .
- Press and hold button 1.
- S w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n .
The display begins a 10 second
c o u n t d o w n
- Keep button 1 pressed for
10 seconds.
T h e d i s p l a y s h o w s [= 0] and the
spanner disappears. Engine oil level indicator
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n ,
the engine oil level is indicated for
a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 0 s e c o n d s , a f t e r t h e
service information.
Oil level gauge fault
Flashing of the six segments indi-
cates a malfunction of the oil level
gauge.
There is a risk of damage to the en-
gine.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Surplus of oil
Flashing of the six squares and dis-
playing of "max" indicate a surplus of
o i l w h i c h c o u l d d a m a g e t h e e n g i n e .
I f t h e s u r p l u s o f o i l i s c o n i r m e d b y
a c h e c k u s i n g t h e d i p s t i c k , c o n t a c t a
P E U G E O T d e a l e r w i t h o u t d e l a y .
Lack of oil
Flashing of the six segments and dis-
playing of "min" indicate a lack of oil
w h i c h c o u l d d a m a g e t h e e n g i n e .
I f t h e l a c k o f o i l i s c o n i r m e d b y a
c h e c k u s i n g t h e d i p s t i c k , i t i s e s s e n -
tial that the level is topped up. The level read on the gauge will
only be correct if the vehicle is
on level ground and the engine
has been off for more than 15 mi-
nutes.
