High load retaining net (SW)
H o o k e d o n t o t h e u p p e r i x i n g s a n d o n t o
the ISOFIX rings or the lugs, this per-
mits use of the entire loading volume up
to the roof:
- behind the rear seats (row 2),
- behind the front seats (row 1) when the rear seats are folded.
To use it in row 1:
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r i x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding up-
p e r i x i n g 1 , then do the same with
the other end,
slacken the straps fully,
i x t h e s n a p h o o k o f e a c h o f t h e s t r a p s
on the corresponding lug 3 , located
under the bench seat cushion,
fold the rear seats,
tighten the straps without raising the
bench seat,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. To use it in row 2:
fold or remove the load space cover,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r i x i n g s 2 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding up-
p e r i x i n g 2 , then do the same with
the other end,
attach the hook of each of the net's
straps in the corresponding ISOFIX
ring 4 ,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.

PEUGEOT recommends that chil-
dren should travel in the rear seats
of your vehicle:
- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the
age of 2.

"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
adjust the vehicle's seat to the interme-
diate longitudinal position with the seat
back upright and leave the passenger
air bag armed.
"Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
it is essential that the passenger air
bag is disarmed. Otherwise, the child
would risk being seriously injured or
k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n l a t e .
Intermediate longitudinal position

Although one of PEUGEOT's main crite-
ria when designing your vehicle, the safe-
ty of your children also depends on you.
For maximum safety, please follow
these precautions:
- in accordance with Directive 2003/20, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one metre

child seats suited to their weight ,
o n s e a t s i t t e d w i t h a s e a t b e l t o r
ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in
y o u r v e h i c l e f o r t h e t r a n s p o r t a t i o n
of children are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
m u s t t r a v e l i n t h e " r e a r w a r d s - f a c -
ing" position both in the front and
i n t h e r e a r .

The incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
child's protection in the event of an
accident.

child seats which can be installed in
your vehicle, consult the summary
table for the location of the ISOFIX
child seats.
"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
Your vehicle has been approved in accor-
dance with the new ISOFIX regulation .
T h e s e a t s , r e p r e s e n t e d b e l o w , a r e i t t e d
with regulation ISOFIX mountings: These are three rings for each seat:
- two rings
A , located between the
vehicle seat back and cushion, indi-
cated by a label,
- a ring B , f o r i x i n g t h e u p p e r s t r a p
referred to as the TOP TETHER . This ISOFIX mounting system guaran-
t e e s y o u f a s t , r e l i a b l e a n d s a f e i t t i n g o f
the child seat in your vehicle.
The
ISOFIX child seats a r e i t t e d w i t h
two locks which are secured easily on
the two rings A .
Some also have an upper strap which
is attached to ring B .
To attach this strap, raise the vehicle
seat's head restraint then pass the hook
b e t w e e n i t s r o d s . T h e n i x t h e h o o k o n
ring B and tighten the upper strap.
