Indicator and warning lamps
Visual indicators informing the driver that a system is in operation, switched off or has a fault.
Cer tain warning lamps may come on inone of two modes. Only by relating thetype of lighting to the operating statusof the vehicle can it be ascertainedwhether the situation is normal or whether a fault has occurred.
When the ignition is switched on
Certain warning lamps come on for a few seconds in the instrument panel and/or
instrument panel screen when the vehicle's
ignition is switched on.
When the engine is started, these same
warning lamps should go off.
If they remain on, before moving off, refer to the
information on the warning lamp concerned.
Associated warnings
The switching on of cer tain warning lamps
may be accompanied by an audible signal
and a message in the instrument panel or
multifunction screen.
The warning lamps may come on continuously (fixed) or flash.

Stop & Start timecounter
(minutes / seconds or hours / minutes)
If your vehicle is fitted with Stop & Star t, a timecounter calculates the time spent in STOP mode during a journey. It resets to zero every time the ignition isswitched on with the key.
If dashes are displayed continuously while driving in place of the digits, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
This function is only displayed from 20 mph (30 km/h).
This value may vary following a changein the style of driving or the relief, resulting in a significant change in thecurrent fuel consumption.
A few definitions (trip computer)
Range
(miles or km)
This indicates the distancewhich can still be travelled with
the fuel remaining in the tank
in relation to the average fuelconsumption over the last few
miles (kilometres) travelled.
When the ran
ge falls below 20 miles (30 km),
dashes are displayed. After filling with at least 5 litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is
displayed when it exceeds 60 miles (10 0 km).
Current fuel consumption
(mpg or l/100 km or km/l)
This is the average fuel consumption
during the last few seconds.
Average fuel consumption
(mpg or l/100 km or km/l)
This is the average fuel consumptionsince the last trip computer zero
reset.
Average speed
(mph or km/h)This is the average speed calculatedsince the last trip computer zero reset(ignition on).
Distance travelled
(miles or km)This indicates the distance
travelled since the last trip
computer zero reset.

Vent ilat ion
The incoming air follows various paths
depending on the controls selected by the
driver:
- direct arrival in the passenger compartment (air intake),
- passage through a heating circuit (heating),
- passage through a cooling circuit (air conditioning).
Control panel
The controls of this system are grouped
together on control panel A on the centreconsole. 1.Windscreen demisting-defrosting vents.2.
Front side window demisting-defrosting
vents. 3. Side adjustable air vents.
4.
Central adjustable air vents.
5. Air outlets to the front footwells.
6.Air outlets to the rear footwells.
Air distribution
Air intake The air circulating in the passenger compartment is filtered and originates either from the outside via the grille located at thebase of the windscreen or from the inside in air recirculation mode.

Driving
Never select neutral N
while the vehicleis moving. Only engage reverse gear Rwhen thevehicle is immobilised, with your foot on the brake pedal. In all cases, you must apply the parkingbrake to immobilise the vehicle.
"Au t o s equential" mode
In the automated mode, you can resumecontrol temporarily at any time using thesteering mounted control paddles.
The use of these paddles permits manual
selection of the gears in situations which
require a more rapid change-down than in
the automated mode (arrival at a roundabout, leaving a car park with a steep gradient,
over taking...).
The gearbox engages the required gear if
the engine speed permits. AUTO
remains
displayed on the instrument panel.
After a few moments, the gearbox resumes
automatic control of the gears.
"Snow" automated mode
In the automated mode, if the vehicle detects poor grip, the gearbox will change automatically
to the automated "snow" mode.
AUTO
and 7
appear in the
instrument panel.
Reinitialisation
Following disconnection of the battery, the gearbox must be reinitialised. ) Switch on the ignition.
AUTO , 7and -appear in the instrument panel.
Operating fault
With the ignition on, if this warninglamp comes on and AUTOflashes, accompanied by an
audible signal and a message in the screen,
this indicates a
gearbox fault.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
For best acceleration, when over taking another vehicle for example, press the accelerator pedal firmly to pass the
point of resistance.
Stopping the vehicle
Before switching off the engine, you canchange to position N
to be in neutral.
In this case, you must apply the parking brake to immobilise the vehicle.
)
Select position N. )
Press the brake pedal. )
Wait approximately 30 seconds until Nor a gear appears in the instrument panel. )
Release the brake pedal.
The gearbox is operational again.
