Doors
From outside
F After unlocking the vehicle using the remote control or the key, pull the door
handle.
Opening
From inside
F Pull the interior control lever of a front door; this unlocks the vehicle completely. -

Closing
When a door is not closed correctly:
Secondary control
For mechanically locking and unlocking the
doors in the event of a fault with the central
locking system or a battery failure.
Driver's door
Insert the key in the lock to lock or unlock
the door.
Passenger doors
F On the rear doors, check that the child lock is not on.

emove the black cap located on the edge
of the door, using the key.

I
nsert the key into the aperture without
forcing, then without turning, move the
latch sideways towards the inside of
the


door.
F

R
emove the key and refit the cap.

Boot
Opening
Unlocking and releasing the boot
using the remote control
F Press the centre button on the remote control for more than
one


second.
The boot lid is released and opens

You should ensure that the boot is closed

Locking / unlocking from the inside
F Press the switch.
This allows the doors and the boot to be locked
or unlocked.Automatic central locking of the
doors
The doors can lock automatically while driving
(speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)).
To turn this function on or off (on by default).

ress and hold the button until there is an
audible signal and/or a message in the
screen.
Locking from outside
When the vehicle is locked from
outside, the switch does not operate.

o unlock the vehicle, pull the
interior door lever.
If one of the doors is open, the doors
are not locked.
Driving with the doors locked may make
access to the passenger compartment
by the emergency services more
difficult in an emergency.
Boot release
Unlocking
F Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the lock from inside the boot.

nsert a small screwdriver into hole A of the
lock to unlock the boot lid.
System for mechanical unlocking of the boot
in the event of a battery or central locking
malfunction.
If your vehicle is fitted with a fixed
bench seat, contact a PEUGEOT dealer
or a qualified workshop.

Windows
Electric controls Manual controls
The electric window switches remain
operational for about 45 seconds after
switching off the ignition or until a front
door is opened. During this period of
45 seconds, if you open a door while
operating a window, the window stops.
Operating the switch again has no
effect until the ignition is switched on
again.Always remove the key from the ignition
when leaving the vehicle, even for a
short time.
In the event of contact during operation
of the windows, you must reverse the
movement of the window. To do this,
press the switch concerned.
When operating the passenger electric
window switches, the driver must
ensure that no one is preventing correct
closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric windows
c o r r e c t l y.
Be particularly aware of children when
operating the windows.

To open or close the window, press or pull the
switch. The window stops as soon as the switch
is released.

For the safety of your children, press switch 5
t o prevent operation of all of the windows,
irrespective of their position.
With the warning lamp on, the switches are
deactivated. With the warning lamp off, the
switches are active.

Front seats
F Raise the control and slide the seat forwards or backwards. F
P ull the control upwards to raise or push
it downwards to lower, as many times as
required, to obtain the position required.

P ush the control rearwards.

Seat backrest angle
As a safety measure, adjustments to the driver's seat must only be done when stationary.
Before moving the seat backwards, ensure that there is nothing that might prevent the full
travel of the seat, so as to avoid the risk of of jamming the seat caused by the presence
of objects on the floor behind the seat or rear passengers. If the seat jams, stop the
movement immediately.

F To raise the head restraint, pull it upwards.
F T o remove the head restraint, press the
lug
A and pull the head restraint upwards.

o put the head restraint back in place, engage
the head restraint stems in the openings
keeping them in line with the seat back.

o lower the head restraint, press the lug A
and the head restraint at the same time. The head restraint is fitted with a frame
with notches which prevents it from
lowering; this is a safety device in case
of impact.
The adjustment is correct when the
upper edge of the head restraint is
level with the top of the head.
Never drive with the head restraints
removed; they must be in place and
adjusted correctly.
Adjusting the height of the

Press the control.
The temperature is controlled automatically.
Pressing a second time stops operation.

Rear seats
F Move the corresponding front seat for ward if necessary.

heck that the corresponding seat belt is
positioned correctly against the backrest
and buckle it. F
S traighten the seat backrest 2 and
secure it.

nbuckle and reposition the seat belt on
the side of the backrest.
When repositioning the seat backrest,
take care not to trap the seat belts.
Ensure that the backrest has latched
properly into place.

P ull the strap 1 to release the seat
backrest 2.

F
old the seat backrest 2 on to the cushion.
Folding the backrest
Depending on version, your vehicle may be fitted with a fixed rear bench seat. For removing and refitting it, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Bench seat with fixed one-piece cushion and split backrest (left hand 2/3, right hand 1/3) which can be folded individually to adapt the load space in the boot.

Mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glass
providing the lateral rear ward vision necessary
for overtaking or parking. They can also be
folded for parking in confined spaces.
Door mirrors
The objects observed are, in reality,
closer than they appear.
Take this into account in order to
correctly judge the distance of vehicles
approaching from behind.

protect it.
Unfolding
F Before moving off, unfold the mirror.

F Move the lever in all four directions to adjust the mirror. F

Demisting-defrosting of the door
mirrors operates with the engine
running, by switching on the heated
rear screen.

As a safety measure, the mirrors should
be adjusted to reduce the "blind spots".

Manual folding
You can fold the mirrors manually (tight parking
space, narrow garage...).

urn the mirror towards the vehicle. Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which
darkens the mirror glass and reduces the
nuisance to the driver caused by the sun,
headlamps from other vehicles...
Rear view mirror

Adjustment

directed correctly in the "day" position.
