the limiter cannot prevent the vehicle
from exceeding the programmed
speed (on a steep descent, in the
event of sharp acceleration).
To reactivate the limiter, release the
accelerator to slow down to a speed
below the programmed speed. Switching the function off
Place dial 1 in position 0 or switch
off the ignition to switch the
system off. The last programmed
speed remains in the memory.
Operating fault
In the event of a limiter malfunction,
the programmed speed is cleared,
t h e d a s h e s l a s h f o r a f e w s e c o n d s :
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
the system checked. In the event of a steep descent
or sharp acceleration, the
speed limiter will not be able
to prevent the vehicle from
exceeding the programmed speed.
In any event, the speed limiter cannot
replace the need to observe speed
limits, nor can it replace the need for
vigilance and responsibility on the
part of the driver.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly.
- n e v e r i t o n e m a t o n t o p o f another.
Exceeding the programmed
speed
In exceptional circumstances, use
this mode to exceed the programmed
speed.
Pressing the accelerator in order to
exceed the programmed speed will
have no effect unless you press the
pedal
i r m l y beyond the point of
resistance .
The limiter is deactivated temporarily and
the speed displayed on the instrument
p a n e l l a s h e s ( e . g . a t 7 0 m p h ( 1 1 0 k m / h ) ) :

Cancelling the memorised
reference speed
When the vehicle becomes
stationary, after switching off the
ignition, the system no longer
memorises a speed.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
the system checked. When changing the memo-
rised reference speed by
means of a maintained press,
pay attention as the speed
can increase or decrease rapidly.
Do not use the cruise control on
s l i p p e r y r o a d s o r i n h e a v y t r a f i c .
In the event of a steep slope,
the cruise control cannot prevent
the vehicle from exceeding the
programmed speed.
In any event, the cruise control cannot
replace the need to comply with
speed limits, nor can it replace the
need for vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
To prevent the mat from becoming
caught under the pedals:
- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly.
- n e v e r i t o n e m a t o n t o p o f another.
Reactivating the cruise control
After cancellation of the cruise
control,
press button 4 . Your vehicle
will return to the last memorised
speed. The display indicates (e.g. at
70 mph (110 km/h)):

Fitting a wheel
Position the wheel using the
centralising tool 5 to assist you.
Tighten the bolts by hand and
remove the centralising tool 5 .
Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
Fold the jack 4 and remove it.
Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
Replace the wheel trim, starting
by placing the wheel trim notch
opposite the valve, and press it
on using the palm of the hand.
Put the corresponding tools in the
holder and secure its cover.
Place the holder on the ground
and align the spare wheel on it.
Pass the notched hook into the
holder cover.

tightening the winch control nut
using the wheelbrace 1 .
Fully tighten and check that
t h e w h e e l i s h o r i z o n t a l l y l u s h
a g a i n s t t h e r e a r l o o r .
C l o s e t h e l a p u s i n g t h e l u g t o
lock the winch.
Store the rest of the tools in the
right-hand trim of the boot.
F o r y o u r s a f e t y , a l w a y s
change the wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery ground,
- with the handbrake on and the ignition switched off,
- w i t h i r s t o r r e v e r s e g e a r e n g a g e d (position P for the automatic
gearbox),
- with the vehicle chocked.

ramp).
N e v e r r e i t t h e h o l d e r u n d e r t h e
vehicle without the spare wheel.

Your vehicle may be equipped with a
spare wheel which has a different rim
to the standard wheel.
After use, it must be replaced as
quickly as possible.
Observe the following instructions to
avoid altering the behaviour of the
vehicle:
-
do not exceed
50 mph (80 km/h) ,
- d o n o t i t a w h e e l t r i m ,
- drive with care,
- check the tyre pressure indicated
on the label.
A f t e r c h a n g i n g t h e w h e e l :
- have the correct positioning of the
punctured wheel, the tightening
of the bolts and the tyre pressure
checked by a PEUGEOT dealer
as soon as possible,
- have the punctured tyre repaired a n d r e i t i t t o t h e v e h i c l e a s s o o n
as possible,
- have the correct positioning of the spare wheel checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.

Front lights
In the engine compartment, on the
right-hand side, remove the style
trim * :
- press the centre of each plastic stud A ,
- remove each plastic stud,
- remove the style trim.
W h e n y o u h a v e i n i s h e d , d o n o t
forget to put everything back in place
correctly:
- position the style trim * ,
- r e i t e a c h p l a s t i c s t u d A by
pressing on it. Handle the bulbs with a dry
cloth.
T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e i t t e d
with polycarbonate glass with
a protective coating. D o n o t c l e a n
t h e m w i t h a d r y o r a b r a s i v e c l o t h ,
n o r w i t h a d e t e r g e n t o r s o l v e n t
p r o d u c t .
Use a sponge and soapy water.
1 . D i p p e d b e a m h e a d l a m p s
( H 1 - 5 5 W o r x e n o n b u l b ) .

Xenon bulbs must be changed by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
2. M a i n b e a m h e a d l a m p s ( H 7 - 5 5 W ) .
Remove the protective cover
corresponding to the faulty bulb.
Disconnect the connector.
Press the end of each securing
clip. Change the bulb.
W h e n i t t i n g t h e n e w b u l b , e n s u r e that the direction notches are
positioned correctly and the
s e c u r i n g c l i p s a r e i x e d p r o p e r l y .
Reconnect the connector.

I n t e g r a t e d d i r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s i d e
repeaters.
Push the repeater forwards and
release it.
Remove the repeater and change
it.
These can be obtained from a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Amber coloured bulbs, such
as the direction indicators,
must be replaced with bulbs
o f i d e n t i c a l s p e c i i c a t i o n a n d
colour.
3 . S i d e l i g h t s ( W 5 W ) .
Remove the protective cover
corresponding to the faulty bulb.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the bulb and change it.
4 . D i r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s (PY 21 W amber).
Turn the bulb holder a quarter of
a turn and remove it.
Change the bulb.
Note
: in certain climatic conditions
(low temperature, humidity), c o n d e n -
s a t i o n i n s i d e t h e h e a d l a m p g l a s s i s
normal ; it disappears a few minutes
after the lights are switched on.
5 . F o g l a m p s ( H 1 1 - 5 5 W ) .
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
these bulbs changed.

Remove the tailgate upper trim
carefully by unclipping it on either
side, perpendicular to its direction
of engagement.
Insert a screwdriver into the two
outer holes B to press on the two
tabs C .
Push the light unit outwards while
maintaining the pressure on the
tabs.
Pull the light unit outwards while
tilting it.
Change the faulty bulb.
W h e n r e i t t i n g , e n s u r e t h a t t h e
light unit tabs are engaged
correctly and that the tailgate
upper trim has been put back in
place correctly.

These 6 bulbs are changed by
removing the light:
Remove the corresponding boot
side trim to access the light,
R e m o v e t h e l i g h t i x i n g n u t i n s i d e
the boot,
R e m o v e t h e l i g h t i x i n g n u t o u t -
side the boot,
Remove the light,
Unclip the harness,
Remove the bulb holder pressing
on the tabs A ,
Change the faulty bulb.
Note: if necessary, use the wheel-
brace to remove the nuts.

the bulb holder and the light
correctly.
Number plate lights
(W 5 W)
Insert a thin screwdriver into one
of the external holes of the lens.
Push it outwards to unclip it.
Remove the lens.
Change the faulty bulb.

C h a n g i n g a f u s e
Before changing a fuse, you must
establish the cause of the fault and
have it corrected. The fuse numbers
are indicated on the fuse box.
Always change a faulty fuse for one
of the same rating (same colour).
Use the special pliers located on the
inside of the fascia fuse box cover,
this support also contains the spare
fuses.
