Initial setting is position 0. O n v e h i c l e s w i t h x e n o n b u l b s :
w h e n s t a t i o n a r y , the system automatically
corrects the height of the beam, whatever
the load of the vehicle. The driver is then
assured of having optimum lighting and
not causing a
nuisance to other road
users.
I n c a s e s o f m a l f u n c t i o n ,
the service warning light
comes on on the instrument
panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction display.
The system places your headlamps
to the low position.

D a y t i m e l i g h t s *
On vehicles which are equipped with
daytime lights, the dipped headlamps
come on when the vehicle is started.
The instruments and controls
(instrument panel, multifunction
display, air conditioning control
panel, ...) are only lit on switching
to the automatic switching on of the lights
mode or when the lights are switched on
manually.
This warning light comes
on on the instrument panel.

ENTERTAINMENT SCREEN KIT
This video assembly will enable the
rear passengers to pass the time
pleasantly while watching their fa-
v o u r i t e i l m o r p l a y i n g t h e i r f a v o u r i t e
game, by means, in particular, of the
connection of a DVD player or games
c o n s o l e t o t h e c e n t r a l s u p p o r t , i t t e d
between the front seats.
The entertainment screen kit con-
sists of:
- a 16/9 ths , 7 inch, LCD colour monitor with direction adjustment
i n t h e t h r e e a x e s ,
- two high frequency, wireless, ste- reo headphones,
- a removable support,
- three audio/video sockets on the i x e d b a s e a n d i n t h e g l o v e c o m -
partment.
The monitor and the support can be
removed and stored, each in their
own protective cover.
The entertainment screen kit accepts
all types of audio/video source, PAL/
NTSC compatible, such as: DVD
player, camcorder, games console, ...
These sources are connected to the
three audio/video sockets, AV1 in the
glove compartment or AV2 on the
i x e d b a s e .

body as possible,
- must restrain one adult only,
- must not bear any trace of cuts or fraying,
- must be pulled in front of you with a s m o o t h m o v e m e n t , c h e c k i n g
that it does not twist,
- m u s t n o t b e t r a n s f o r m e d o r m o d i i e d t o a v o i d a l t e r i n g i t s p e r f o r m a n c e .
In accordance with current safety
regulations, all repairs and checks
must be carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer who guarantees that the work
i s c a r r i e d o u t c o r r e c t l y .
H a v e y o u r s e a t b e l t s c h e c k e d r e g u -
larly by a PEUGEOT dealer and par-
ticularly if the straps show signs of
d a m a g e .
Clean the seat belt straps with soapy
w a t e r o r a t e x t i l e c l e a n i n g p r o d u c t ,
s o l d b y P E U G E O T d e a l e r s .
A f t e r f o l d i n g o r m o v i n g a s e a t o r r e a r
bench seat, ensure that the seat belt
i s p o s i t i o n e d a n d r o l l e d u p c o r r e c t l y . Recommendations for children:
- use a suitable child seat if the pas-
s e n g e r i s l e s s t h a n 1 2 y e a r s o l d o r
s h o r t e r t h a n o n e m e t r e i f t y ,
- do not use the strap-guide * when a c h i l d s e a t i s i n s t a l l e d .
- n e v e r u s e t h e s a m e s e a t b e l t t o secure more than one person,
- n e v e r a l l o w a c h i l d t o t r a v e l o n y o u r l a p .
Depending on the nature and se-
riousness of the impacts , the pre-
t e n s i o n i n g d e v i c e m a y b e t r i g g e r e d
before and independently of the air
b a g s . T r i g g e r i n g o f t h e p r e - t e n s i o n e r s
is accompanied by a slight emission
of harmless smoke and a noise, due
t o t h e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h e p y r o t e c h n i c
c a r t r i d g e i n c o r p o r a t e d i n t h e s y s t e m .
In all cases, the air bag warning light
c o m e s o n .

I f t h e s e a t s h a v e a r m r e s t s * , t h e l a p
part of the seat belt must always

reel permitting automatic adjustment
o f t h e l e n g t h o f t h e s t r a p t o y o u r s i z e .
The seat belt is stored automatically
w h e n n o t i n u s e .
Before and after use, ensure that the
s e a t b e l t i s r o l l e d u p c o r r e c t l y .
The lower part of the strap must be
positioned as low as possible on the
p e l v i s .
The upper part must be positioned in
t h e h o l l o w o f t h e s h o u l d e r .
