Pada posisi "OFF", kantung udara
penumpang tidak akan mengem- bang jika terjadi benturan.
Jika Anda melepaskan kursi anak dari kursi penumpang depan, putar switchkantung udara ke posisi "ON"untuk
mengaktifkan kantung udara yangakan menjamin keselamatan penum-pang depan jika terjadi benturan. Monitoring fungsi Monitoring fungsi kantung udara ini diindikasikan dengan lampu indikatoryang menyala, disertai sinyal akustikdan pesan di display multifungsi.
Saat kunci kontak di posisiON (pada posisi kedua),indikator peringatan menya-la disertai sinyal akustik danpesan "Passenger air bag
disarmed" di display multifungsi,
maka ini mengindikasikan bahwakantung udara penumpang dinonak-tifkan (kunci kontak pada posisi"OFF" ).KANTUNG UDARA SAMPING*
DAN KANTUNG UDARA KEPALA*
Kantung udara samping terpasang disandaran punggung kursi-kursidepan, di sisi pintu.
Kantung udara kepala terpasang didalam pilar dan bagian atas ruangpenumpang.
Kantung-kantung udara tersebutdipicu secara terpisah, tergantungpada sisi di mana terjadi benturan. Monitoring fungsi
Monitoring fungsi kantung udara diindi- kasikan melalui lampu indikator dan dii-ringi dengan sinyal akustik dan pesanyang akan muncul di display multifungsi.
Jika lampu indikator inimenyala, disertai sinyalakustik dan pesan "Airbag
faulty" di display multifung-
si, segera hubungi Dealer
servis resmi PEUGEOT untukmemeriksa sistem.

CHANGING A WINDSCREEN
WIPER BLADE
Placing the wiper blades in the
maintenance position Within one minute of switching off
the ignition, operate the wipers
stalk to position the wiper blades
in the centre of the windscreen
(maintenance position).
Changing a wiper blade Lift the wiper arm, then unclip the
blade and remove it.
Fit the new blade and push back
the arm.
Note : the shortest blade is fitted on
the vehicle's righthand windscreen
wiper arm.
To return the windscreen wipers
to their normal position, switch on
the ignition and operate the wiper
stalk. ECONOMY MODE FUNCTION
After the engine has stopped, certain
functions (windscreen wiper, electric
windows, sunroof, courtesy lights,
audio equipment etc.) can only be
used for thirty minutes, to prevent
discharging the battery.
After thirty minutes, the message
"Economy mode active"
appears
on the multi–function display and the
active functions are put on standby.
To resume use of these functions,
start the engine and let it run for a
few seconds. LOAD REDUCTION FUNCTION
When driving, certain functions (air
conditioning, heated rear screen,
heating system for passenger com
partment of diesel vehicles, etc.)
may be switched off temporarily,
depending on the level of battery
charge.
Reactivation of these functions is
automatic, once the battery charge is
sufficient.
Note:
at the risk of discharging the
battery, the functions that have been
switched off may be reactivated
manually.

A flat battery will prevent
the engine from starting.
