Vehicle locked/deadlocked
Press button D on the remote

o p e n t h e b o o t .
T h i s a c t i o n w i l l a l s o u n l o c k t h e
doors. T o p r o t e c t t h e b o o t a g a i n s t t h e f t ,
button
E can be disarmed. Turn the
lock F a q u a r t e r t u r n t o t h e r i g h t u s i n g
the key.
T h e b o o t c a n o n l y b e o p e n e d u s i n g
the remote control.
Opening the boot "Boot open" warning
I f t h e t a i l g a t e i s n o t p r o p e r l y c l o s e d :
- with the engine running , y o u
a r e w a r n e d b y a d i a g r a m a n d a
message on the multifunction
d i s p l a y f o r a f e w s e c o n d s ,
- when the vehicle is moving
( s p e e d a b o v e 6 m p h ( 1 0 k m / h ) ) ,
t h e s e r v i c e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s
o n . I t i s a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n
a u d i b l e s i g n a l , a d i a g r a m a n d a
message on the multifunction
d i s p l a y f o r a f e w s e c o n d s .
Closing the boot
Use the interior grab handles to
close the boot.
P r e s s t h e c e n t r e o f t h e b o o t w i t h
both hands until it locks.

I t u n l o c k s e i t h e r :
- m a n u a l l y b y p r e s s i n g t h e i n t e r i o r c e n t r a l l o c k i n g / u n l o c k i n g b u t t o n ,
- a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n o n e o f t h e d o o r s i s o p e n e d .
F o r t h i s t o t a k e p l a c e , the key must
be in the ignition and button E
must not have been disarmed by
means of the lock F. F o l l o w i n g a u t o m a t i c l o c k i n g , i f
the key is removed from the ig-
n i t i o n b e f o r e a d o o r i s o p e n e d o r
before the interior central lock-
i n g / u n l o c k i n g b u t t o n i s p r e s s e d ,
the boot remains locked and
c a n n o t b e o p e n e d b y p r e s s i n g
button
E .
In all cases, the boot can still
be unlocked by pressing but-
ton D on the remote control.
Vehicle unlocked
Press button D on the remote

Note
: if you have unlocked the vehicle
u s i n g t h e k e y , p r e s s i n g t h e r e m o t e
control deactivates the alarm.

The red indicator light on the button
c o m e s o n w h e n t h e v e h i c l e i s l o c k e d
a n d i s s w i t c h e d o f f w h e n t h e v e h i c l e
is unlocked.
Note: if the vehicle is locked or
d e a d l o c k e d f r o m t h e o u t s i d e , t h e r e d
i n d i c a t o r l i g h t l a s h e s a n d b u t t o n A is
i n o p e r a t i v e . I n t h i s c a s e , u s e t h e k e y
or the remote control to unlock.
Automatic central locking
of the doors
T h e d o o r s l o c k a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n
d r i v i n g [ s p e e d g r e a t e r t h a n 6 m p h
(10 km/h)].
A b o v e 6 m p h ( 1 0 k m / h ) , a b r i e f p r e s s
on button A momentarily unlocks the
doors.
You can activate or disarm this func-
tion.

Press and hold button A .

tomatic central locking and locking
from the inside do not function.
I f t h e b o o t i s o p e n , t h e a u t o m a t i c
central locking of the doors is active. Driver’s door
Insert the key in the lock to lock or
unlock the door.
Passenger’s door
- t o l o c k , i n s e r t t h e k e y i n t h e l o c k
(located on the edge of the door)
then turn an eighth of a turn to the
left.
