The ignition key has an electronic
c h i p w h i c h h a s a s p e c i a l c o d e . W h e n
t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , t h e c o d e i s
r e c o g n i s e d a n d s t a r t i n g i s p o s s i b l e .
If the system does not function
correctly, t h e s e r v i c e w a r n i n g l i g h t
c o m e s o n , a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n
audible signal and a message on the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y .
I n t h i s c a s e , y o u r v e h i c l e w i l l n o t
start. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as
s o o n a s p o s s i b l e .

driver’s door to lock the vehicle.

When the vehicle is locked,

o p e n e d w i t h i n 3 0 s e c o n d s ,
t h e v e h i c l e w i l l l o c k a u t o m a t i c a l l y .

e x t e r i o r m i r r o r s c a n b e d e a c t i v a t e d
by a PEUGEOT dealer.
To locate your vehicle, if
you have locked it, in a
c a r p a r k :
p r e s s b u t t o n B , the courtesy
lights come on and the direction
i n d i c a t o r s l a s h f o r a f e w
seconds.

Low fuel level
When the minimum
fuel level in the tank is
r e a c h e d , t h i s w a r n i n g
light comes on on the
i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l .
You can still drive approximately
30 miles (50 km). Operating fault
With the ignition on, if the fuel gauge
needle remains in or returns to
t h e r e s t p o s i t i o n ( b e l o w z e r o ) , t h i s
indicates a malfunction of the fuel
gauge.

Press the red button on the stalk
then remove the buckle. I f t h e s e a t b e l t i s u n f a s t e n e d :

comes on constantly,

Applying
Pull the handbrake to immobilise
your vehicle. When the vehicle is being
driven, illumination of this

s i g n a l a n d a m e s s a g e o n t h e m u l t i -
f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y , i n d i c a t e s t h a t t h e
handbrake is still on or has not been

Releasing
